Sieht großartich aus! Wie alle Deiner Werke!
Hast Du jemals Realistic Paint Studio ausprobiert? Ich bin drauf gekommen, als Du das mit dem "ach-so-innovativen" Farbmixen erwähntest. Bei diesem Programm ist alles-wirklich alles-intuitiv. Und es ist neben Krita mein Lieblingsprogramm. Kostenlos dazu. Beide. Also you'll give it a try? O.O

When I was a child I drew things for school, but I didn't feel inspired by anything until 20 years later thanks to my 13-year-old sister.
Am I sometimes sad because I'm so old? but I would also like to see my process and the drawing style I could have in the future, that excites me a lot and that is why I continue practicing.

It's a great painting and I agree that one can be paralyzed by the endless choices available in the digital medium.

I loved watching this process. And the results are so impressive. I am an oil painter and do mostly realistic work. But I like experimenting with new mediums as well. I will definitely try this someday. Right now I am in the process of relocating across the country. And it may be months before I have a new studio built or set up. But art is so much of who I am that it will definitely happen. Thanks to your amazing demonstration I am intrigued! Can’t wait!! Many blessings and continued success.

I consider digital painting and traditional painting as one and the same thing. LIke my art teacher used to say, "with a good software, you basically have access to a whole artistic workshop in just one computer, the reste is the same".
For me, the nice part with digital is the ability to correct errors or change things way more easily than with traditional material. I still prefer the mix of techniques : drawing and lining with a classic pen on a paper sheet, scan it, modify it and then color everything digitally.
Still, all the knowledge and technique remains the same : highlights, shadows, volume, proportion, match of color, no difference.

If you want to get better at your digital painting, start painting with physical mediums. You get way more benefit from paints to digital than digital to paints.

Digital art will NEVER be completely yours. What you create is an extension of whomever programmed the various brushes, wrote the coding for how the program saves the data file, how fast the stylus reacts or doesn't react, automatic curving of lines, the blending, I could go for an hour. I know someone might argue if others make your paint brushes, paint and perhaps canvas, then according to me they should receive credit for traditional art pieces. But this isn't a good comparison I think, a better comparison would be another artist holding and guiding your hand as you paint.

The amount of options in digital painting is struggle for me too. I don't like it because it's too stresfull for me. But I have one exception which is pixel art. This digital medium is soo straight forward: one, two brushes, sharp stroke edges, maybe some line, rectangle etc. options and thats it. It's only digital medium which I like to work with.

Digital art is easy, when you started of learning traditional first.

For people saying Digital art is not a real art are just naive and most likely don't have any access to it, because at one point modern art and abstract art was also deemed to be not a real art because people just didn't understand and don't know how to make it.

You did such a gorgeous job!! I really love how your digital painting turned out! I also had a very similar experience since I paint and drew traditionally. The layers and pressing buttons in order to blend were very awkward at first. But I made something work out where I took a "traditional approach" to paint my digital art. Since I have way more experience traditionally. It's all about the experience and getting to know your tools and how to work with them and see what possible effects they can make. But thank you for sharing your experience and hopping to see art videos like these in the future. Have fun painting! Keep up the amazing work!

I’ve done traditional for years but last Christmas my husband and I saved and saved and he bought me a new top of the line Samsung tablet and a subscription for CSP. My birthday is the day after Christmas and he gave me the Clip Studio tabmate. I’ve never received a gift I’d wanted more or was so nice and expensive and thoughtful. I have done everything I can to try and transfer over to digital but I’m having the hardest time. Every time I’m using traditional art supplies I see my husbands face get a little sad. He also understands and supports fully that I want to move to art full time at some point and he knows that digital art and having social media presence is the way to go. He even bought me a tri pod and some light boxes and stuff. It’s kills me even more because for the first time I have someone who loves and supports me fully and I know how lucky I am and failing is breaking my heart. I feel awful. Clip studio paint and the tabmate are incredibly professional. I didn’t have a dedicated drawing tablet as my husband uses the PC for work and gaming/streaming and I worried I’d fall behind on learning from artists who used keyboard shortcuts and the Tabmate has saved me there. I love the software but I’m overwhelmed by all the options and tools. It’s like choice paralysis and I get so overwhelmed I forget all my art fundamentals. I just need to dedicate more time and be consistent and just not put so much pressure on myself but damn digital is way harder than I ever thought it would be. Most of my art has been through the fee and texture and use and restrictions of the art supplies I’m using. It gave me parameters to work within and I knew how to use them best for my needs. Digital is overload for me.
Day at a time. That’s all I can do.

I guess it applies to the opposite as well. an artist that's used to mostly drawing digitally might feel overwhelmed by the many tools a Traditional artist would use. "Do I use a fan brush or oval brush? Do I use turpentine or paint thinner?" But it's easy to decide what you need to use when you're already familiar with your arsenal when you know what you're doing, it's not daunting

Currently thinking of trying to improve my ass art skills by investing in a tablet or something. I just really hate reerasing my mistakes over and over because im not comfortable with drawing angles and anatomy, so something as awesome as an undo button could frustrate me less. Coloring on the other hand is probably going to be even more of a pain through another way than i already have to deal with in traditional art.

Maybe I'm too old now at 38, but I agree that digital art gives me too many options and I prefer physical medium for final paintings. I'm spoiled by digital for my planning process, though! I love cropping, color changing and adding elements in Photoshop to give me better references. I can't imagine not being able to use digital tools to make sure my ideas come together visually before putting even a sketch on my canvas.
