let me tell you a story there was these refugees and they decided to ask me for help and they had a kid with em like 8 or 9 years i took a look at her and looked again she had a small passion for medical and a hook hand i called one of my minions up told him to prepare a bionic hand for the little girl and ill put it on for her after all a hook hand isnt really the best for medicine few days later it was ready but somehow i missed she also had a missing finger MINION:BIONIC FINGER NOW! of course my minion went back to the bench to work on yet another prosthesis for this little girl that seemed to be accident prone or purely a masso meanwhile i talked her into letting me give her a new lease on life with a real working hand instead of a steel shaped like a upside down U she agreed we all had a nice lavish meal i went back to research and think till it was morning allowing her to save her strength and getting a good nights sleep in a excellent bed fast forward to the morning i grab some medicine and ask her to just relax and be at ease and the 6 hour operation started and ended problems with attaching the wires on a body that small to the correct muscles but thats for another time the time flew by after that by the next morning one of my nurses had already had bedside manners a meal and cleaned the room from the small body taking in so much of a sour medication like herbal medicine i really need to start buying the better meds but being this far north the area just isnt the right one for trade caravans to drop by 24/7 hell we rarely see animals let alone people anyways on with my story when i came in she was looking at both of her hands crying she looked at me with a smile on her face and tears streaming from her eyes i was about to say something but she started puking again guess she needs to rest a bit more ill set her food to something soft baby food perhaps i thought to myself it wont be for long and as much as its processed it might burn thanks to the sugar content but its gotta be better than spewing chunks of meat and beans later that day i came to visit her again she simply said thank you and thats when i asked her what do you think about learning medicine from me im not much but id rather train someone who at least has a passion for the work than one of my idiot minions she agreed and the training began day in day out she asked a question i answered in the best way i could for someone of my moderately slow skill by the time she was 11 years old she could do the same operations as me with a little better sucess rate and today at 19 years old she is known threw the region as for me i sit back and watch her grow each new bionic each new surgery and tending for people with that same upside down U on their arm i think she may dislike it as much as i do as for me i have mostly retired now and again putting on my gloves to help with an outbreak of a random disease or after an emergency when the local tribes come for the alcohol we use as disinfectant and anesthetic ask if id do it again 1000% yes sure i killed a few guys cause they had a little lightning mage that wanted to learn medicine with them that may send me to randy but still it was to help at least 1 maybe just maybe randy or cassie will bless me

My best pawn is an asetic masochist transhumanist night owl pawn. Mind screw, sleeping spot in the boiler room, joy wire, 'borged to hell and back abd psychic harmoniser. Massive mood buffs plus he's a fantastic cleaner. Yeah, he's basically an ultra-happy borged up janitor who works the night shift and makes everyone happy even while he's asleep.

All the flesh shapers and aesthetic nose fail to hide the fact that all parts except things like lungs and hearts, are bionic. Not even rockskin can hide the red laser eye.

Or, if you're me, you can capture raiders and replace all his limbs with peg legs to level your skill

There are the mod with chip ai that max out con at 100 but also gives 100 so uou can have joywire halfcycle without actual panalties

From what I understand because of how the rimworld of magic mod works if someone has any "bionic" part instead of what they were born with the bionic part will still be part of there body if they become a lich instead of the bionic part being replaced (in other words you can make cyborg lich's in rimworld if you have the right mod)

Warning: even with all the odds in your favour you can still fail so badly and kill the pawn. Remember only if it’s necessary or if you have the right equipment/doctor.

For late game slavery - no-sleep implant + emp grenades = very easy slave management and very efficient slaves.

The Mindscrew & Psychic Harmonizer combo for prisoners actually sounds very practical now that you mention it. As it will cause revolting prisoners to be downed faster: resulting in fewer casualties and shorter revolts. Thanks for the tip!!

Crusty Peanut's Warcrime's Expanded could also be used to amplify such an effect. All prisoner pawns might as well have the Wimp trait :) .

Step 1-add quality bionics mod
Step 2-add quality matters mod
Step 3-add EPOE and cybernetics mod
Step 4-go ballistic with a productions specialist

I slightly hate myself for not noticing 🙃

I always like to have a "transhumanist" colonists to give the psychic harmonizer implant. In time, I can get the +13 mood buff for "my macine body is complete" for having so many artificial body parts (the psychic harmonizer being one of them), which almost guarantees that a positive mood buff will be given to nearby colonists from the psychic harmonizer effect.
And if you ever find a "transhumanist" that has the "optomistic" or "sanguine" trait, that is a golden opportunity for a psychic harmonizer.

Just finished an Archonexus run tonight. All of my main pawns were JACKED on bionics with the EPOE mod-- great stuff. Right at the end I implanted a Joywire and psychic harmonizer into a sanguine pawn to see what would happen-- everyone was running around with a +5-8 buff on average after that, definitely recommend that combination if you can get it.

Friendly reminder that during social fights pawns will use their bionics, unless that has been patched out. Had a colonist venom talon/fang another colonist once. I was a little perturbed.
