You can create a barter guy and a toaster guy from Greatsky as well. Saves from having to use your points on your main characters on those skills. Just swap them out once you find the toasters or once you have a bunch of stuff to sell.

No, you can't change swap from inventory during combat.

This game is wickedly fun. Too fun, I'm skipping work occasionally just to play.

I love these types of game but, it's frustrating to go back and play older tactical RPGs cause you can pour through pages of forum posts and manuals and not learn that you need to level up pinky fingering to be able to use melee weapons

Wasteland games are incredibly complex and beautiful and criminally under rated

Just started playing this and now apparently you can’t do anything with your inventory during combat, unless I’m missing something

If you don't know that each ranger needs to use a different type of weapon to avoid depleting valuable ammo pools, you really are a newb.

I have no need to worry about cash just get the antique seller perk in barter skill tree I keep 1200 standard 1$ scrap on me then sell it and buy it back if I ever need money and I just hit that 5% chance over and over that's how I got my wealth of over 10.000.000$

I'm loving how streamlines this game is compared to WL2

Really seems the quality of life for wasteland 3 is increased

I hope it's tutorial system is fixed I really hate entering combat and then having to read 15 pages of tutorial notes explaining how to fight in wasteland 2

only for my characters to miss 95% of their shots and then die because the enemy outguns them in every way despite me building them specifically to be good at combat

And yes I'm aware of weapon effective ranges precision shots and their effects on different body parts etc etc

I just couldn't get into wasteland 2 it's combat was ass not because the type of combat system turn based is fundamentally bad but simply because wasteland 2 had too many screws loose in its combat

It just felt too much like trading blows because cover and flanking seemed to do jack shit for my team

Anyways apologies for the paragraph I shall be playing wasteland 3 soon wish me luck

A tip: you can respec everyone, not just custom characters. So if you think scitchmo should be a melee character or that Lucia's weapon mod skill is wasted, you can just go ahead and do it. It is quite expensive, tho.

Really great game. Just walked into it ... And with Fallout 1 and 2 being some of my favorite PC games .... I've been having so much fun.
It's like a advanced fallout 1 and 2. A lot more to do.
It's been fun. A nice change of pace.
And you can't change out quickslots in battle.... Well , I can't at least. I did see that quickslots perk however

I just got the game quite recently and I think the quickslot system has been changed so that you no longer are able to change out items during a battle.

I'm about to just erase delete this game too much going on you're taking away from us having fun technical nobody wants all that the camera angles they're all the same in the RPGs nobody has good stuff you overdo it over analyze instead of making things simple too complicated I'm going to gears of war tactics

I went into the current playthrough blind no guides im almost finished with the story. Definitely going to do another run through make different choices

So I just started a new game, and I think they reworked intelligence. Now for every one skill point put into it. You gain a skill point increasing the max skill points by ten

I love this game don't get me wrong, but I would have kept the weapon skills separate, And I very much hate the way the story goes out of its way to say only two of you made it from the convoy, but oh yeah here's an unlimited number of recruits you can customize and swap out it will with no penalty.

There’s some wonky shit in this game, sometimes I’m directly next to an enemy and I still only have %75 to hit. Datmakenosense.

Man This is my first time ever playing this game and it seems like I have been missing out.

Get a guy from the replacement hires and build him for armor/ weapon mods only. Upgrade your armor when u get to HQ, those skills are basically useless in fights/ exploring with 1 or 2 exceptions (Bizzare weapon shop).

does wasteland 3 have permadeath?

Regarding skill books, im pretty sure that when i played, skills where i had used books the skill point cost was one level lower.

Dont buy it for PS4 this game is broken and unplayable

imagine a fallout 1 and 2 remake in this engine, i see potential.
