Hykolity offers the same light, 5 year warranty and they actually hold up great over years. Paid $260 shipped for 8. Similar brands would've cost me from $800-$1200
ОтветитьI'm not sold on all of those "carport" garages.... Not like they sell and install them at a deal either....
Ответитьyou didn't want to go with the dimmer option ? I think that would have been the move.
ОтветитьFyi warm white is in the 3k range, 4k is cool white, and 5k is considered daylight.
Ответитьhow about the led wall pack lights you have, did you make a video, how do you like them ? for out by your entry door? thanks Mike
ОтветитьColor render index CRI of >80. Thats pretty bad. I’m all for bright, but quality light matter. My head hurts already.
ОтветитьNice T/A
ОтветитьAre these the hero or saturn models
Ответитьit's time to replace the crappy "garage lights" with something that doesn't spark, crackle and fail! i need something of better quality for sure. i don't need a lot of fixtures, maybe 4 in my 500 sqft, 10 ft ceiling workshop. what are your thoughts?
ОтветитьHey there bud, I bought the same lights for my future build this spring, going to be putting up a 56x112x16 man cave/car storage building. I bought 21 of the exact same lights with the diffusers and a couple of the wall mounts for the exterior doors. Your shop is looking really nice! Good luck and don't work too hard!
ОтветитьDo you get headaches ??? I tried the 5000k and My head hurt every time I walked into my gym studio so I ordered the 4000k lights to see if that works bette. Let me know your input
ОтветитьThanks a lot for taking the time and effort to make this video! I am having a hard time finding videos where people are using these high bay LED lights with the optional diffusers / reflectors. I guess not many people must know yet they could be a nice addition to reduce spotlight glare and spread the light out more evenly. Perhaps you would want to try some and see the difference and shoot a video (perhaps others would like to see as well)... I ordered some high bay lights and diffusers for my shop but they have not arrived yet, was just looking for some videos showing lights with diffusers.
ОтветитьWhy does the wiring video say it is private?
ОтветитьOutstanding job on the shop lights! You'll be able to see really well when you are working on your projects!
ОтветитьYy
Ответитьhi man i like your video, super cool.
ОтветитьI would swap the two center lights to balance out the light when only using the one circuit so all the light isn't on one side of the shop. Curious if it would make a difference when only one set of lights are on.
ОтветитьActually both 4000K and 5000K are nearer the 'warm' side of lighting to get to hospital or daylight levels you need to be above 6500K. In a shop and as your eyes age the difference between 5000K and 6500+ is pretty striking when doing detail work. I installed my shop with 7000K and have never regretted that decision. I would never go for a lesser K value in a work environment. I used the four foot daisy chained 'florescent' style and put enough in to avoid any shadows. Even with them I add more on each machine. You just can't get enough light when machining or wrenching.
ОтветитьMy buddy lit up his 30x50 with 4 of those. They're bright.
