4K HDR TV with only 100 mbits network card. No wonder 4K HDR movies keep buffering.. Trash tv.

FALD full aray, no body talks about it in reviews but owners my god, full aray almost always have the brightness problem of the screen lights up in dark scenes when somthing white/light/ or subtitle apears on screen, drives you mad, so im happy with the egde lit,sure can always be better but im not looking at a screen that lights up constantly, movies and tv shows have a lot of dark scenes so...

I opted for the Q60 65 inch, brought it Nov 2019 and got a decent deal. Ended up paying less than £800.

Thinking about it now maybe should have gone for the Q70 as I’ll probably keep my TV for a few years

The 60 is edge lit and that's where it looses its battle.

A peak HDR level testing is needed in these reviews, especially for gamers. These 2 TVs are not even in the same league when it comes to HDR luminance, with the Q70R at 800 nits (1000 nits according to Samsung), that's double the Q60R.

I picked up the Q60R a month ago because I found it online through Walmart and only paid 649.96.

Bought the 55q60r early july for 607 Euro just before summer recess. Hard to find great deals now. I would advice people who are looking for a tv around the 400 euro price point and are willing to make a jump of 200-300 euro to wait for black friday. I at least do not want to spend 850 euro's for a 55Q70R.

Q60 I use for gaming and there is literally no reason for the Q70 in my option jsut samsung giving you 1 maybe 2 more options for picture settings thats about it..lol its all about the money and advertisement

1 Big difrence between about these 2 models is that the Q70R have HDMI 2.1

Yet according to Rtings, Q70 is much better than Q60. Better black levels, local dimming, a lot brighter and better reflection handling.

Thanks for the video. I visited a local electronics retailer and the cool guy working there recommended me Q70 over the Q60 due to the deeper black levels and Edge LED vs Direct LED. They did not have Q70 there but it just felt like Q60 has amazing picture anyways. So, in my currency, the difference recalculated to dollars is about 320 increace in price and I am not really sure if that is worth it.

I got both of them. Bought the Q70R for the living room and the Q60R in the bedroom. Great tv. Very smooth UI. Gaming on a xbox one x on the 70R is outstanding.

It's not even a contest, the Q70r looks much better. Go into a store and see for yourself. The 60 is dull looking and the image looks like it has a grey filter over it. That's in a bright room. It's probably even worse in a dark room.

I just bought the 70r 75 inch and it’s fantastic I love the tv. Two down sides to it is the reflection u need to close the blinds or turn off some light in the house and I notice the side I look on the side not to much and the colour does face a little but if you have a small room that looks straight it’s amazing

Hi, I have a question. i can't choose between the samsung q60 and the samsung ru8009. I am mainly concerned with upscaling from 1440p because I want to use the tv mainly for pc gaming. I would be interested to know whether the image on the q60 with a gaming resolution of 1440p is in focus or whether it is washed out. And whether the q60 has a better upscaler?

I bought this TV (Q70R), and I only have problem with her,
The picture quality look bad (saying the least), nothing crisp/deep or native.. And I don't know why?
I'm on Dynamic mode (it's the only one who works, It's not my first Samsung TV. I had 6400 4K and she was breathtaking, but I wanted bigger screen and real 4K HDR
that dream turn into a disaster..
Also the same on the PS4. I can't return her cause I throw the box 2 month ago.
If it's not enough form time to time the remote is blinking and I'm getting a message "Not available" and the internet connection is not working
even rest to factory doesn't solve the problem..
After few days the remote is connecting and I'm able to connect to the internet.
