if its not worth 500 then what do you say about "the vission pro" 😑
ОтветитьI'm selling my quest 3 for a quest pro rn quest 3 is a nice upgrade and the price will come down someday but for the average person quest 2 is more than enough
ОтветитьI am still saving and i still need 3 months to save
ОтветитьSooo if I’ll mainly use it as a budget Vision Pro it’ll be good?
ОтветитьThis is unparalleled. I had the privilege of reading something similar, and it was truly unparalleled. "Reclaiming Connection: The Journey of a Digital Detox" by Joshua Ember
ОтветитьI use a brick battery in my pocket. That's apple vision pro battery style. Hours of use
ОтветитьI got my 100 GB quest 3 a couple months after release. I'd say it's worth the upgrade, especially if you're looking to sell your old one like I did. I'm hoping this video can convince at least a few people to pick one of these up. By the way, I know the pain of having a busted car, hope you get it figured out soon. And one more thing: outside of the kiwi, of course, what 3rd party battery strap would you recommend?
Ответитьi jsut ordered a quest 3 will be in two weeks lowkey broke the bank for it
ОтветитьThe one reason why I’m not buying Nessa because I’m broke
ОтветитьThe absolute state of PCVR is sad.
Ответитьi wanna see you react...not review the apple vision pro :D please i just... god they do not believe me when i tell them it is not worth the money
ОтветитьI still prefer my Q2, I will upgrade once Meta confirms we won't get any new games on it. battery life is ass, controller tracking is worse on fast games like beatsaber, the mic is pretty muffled and poppy, the new lenses actually gave me eye strain, something I never had an issue with on Q2, MR is really niche, boring and really is just useful for developers and people that work from home. The passthrough is actually pretty good but not what was advertised and requires some top tier lighting to look right. The best thing about the Q3 is the performance upgrade and potential going forward. But I think it will take a year or two after its release for it to be truly worth it if you already have a Q2 or don't want to spend £200 more on a headset that is being under utilised atm. If you're into PCVR the headset itself doesn't even matter too much.
ОтветитьI think Brazurk had a stroke
ОтветитьI'll offer my feedback.
I bought a Quest 2 the day it launched. I absolutely love it, but I use it like a high-end peripheral and less like a dedicated game console. Much like how someone would buy a joystick or steering column for increased immersion in the games they like to play. At ~$300, the price was right and I was ready to "jump into" VR. But, that price point is what made it worth it to me. That was well within my budget, but the Q3 is substantially more than that and I find it extremely difficult to justify that high end purchase for an "upgrade" to a piece of kit I already own. Yes, I know the Q3 is super cool and better. But, unfortunately, I don't have the disposable income just to drop on each new gaming gadget that comes around, Day 1.
That said, I am very eager to get a Q3 and am currently surfing the 2nd-hand market to hopefully pick one up for a price point I can justify. Buying used + selling my Q2 might reduce the out of pocket cost to less than $200, which is something I can stomach.
My first quest 3 completely died after three months so I had to get a replacement. Also went through two elite strap with batteries and just received my third today. Sucks that I have to just cross my fingers that my devices will finally work. The headset has been more of a headache for me given all the issues I’ve had.
Besides that, I do love it when it works, especially the color pass through and graphical quality. Battery life is meh but better when the elite straps work as they should.
Stop talking about your car
ОтветитьNot entirely on board with this voiceover
ОтветитьAre you having a stroke? Your slurred speech is difficult to understand.
ОтветитьWhats this headset like if you wanna sit on a couch most of the time and use it?
Ответитьi feel like they're just gonna take out quest 2 support for games, and then call it a day.
Ответитьi have zero vr devices.. unless an old vernee m2 in a shinecon counts.
anyway.. i was just wondering .. can u use the quest 2 with the quest 3 controllers? and vice versa?
shoutout me or buy me a quest 3
ОтветитьI think I saw you and virtual panda playing vail? Was it you guys or were you fakes.
ОтветитьSend me a quest 3 or i will sandpaper your testicles :) (btw btw keep doing what you are doing!)
Ответитьwhy does he sound sleepy
ОтветитьTry slowing down when talking. It's like listening to a narrator reading run-on sentences in a story.
Ответитьquest 3 or pico 4 for pcvr?
Ответитьloved the yachty at the end
Ответитьas for your car man...
my father always told me... stay clear of cars with engine/transmission problems, they are not worth fixing it.
my cousin bought it, preffers it all the way. to the point that i may want to buy one myself.
honestly i think the problem comes mostly from what people expect from VR. not from what it really is.
i mean, in the 90ies we had VR and it was pretty god darn basics. yet everyone who tryed it said "whoa man im in the game for real !" it was just 3D cubes and low polygon stuff... really it wasn'T worth the whole big ass playground just for that. so i think people expect VR to be like our real eye cams. and thats never gonna be happenning. so people shouldn'T expect VR to be that big of a deal from the get go.
Puhbaddereelie
Ответитьwhat would make me buy one? displayport over usb c or just regular DP connection, so i can have pcvr without any compression and added latency. with permanent power supply. i would still be using my index controllers tho, cant compete with the knuckles. saying that always gets countered with "well use 940mbit" and well. play foliage heavy games like modded skyrim and you see that even 940mbit istn enough because compression and smal moving objects are not friends
ОтветитьAny recommendation on storage options? Still cannot decide to go with 128 or 512
ОтветитьHaha you are hilarious
Ответитьbro slow down and speak clearly
Ответитьlol my subaru is due for a bigggg service and i shouldn’t get one…buttttttt😅
ОтветитьI think the pass through is the issue it's not the same on all quest 3 some people say it's very clear others like me say it's very blown out hard to read screens and even a page on a book without looking over exposed ect no matter how much good light you have
ОтветитьI feel like we the test dummies for the real vr in future when todays youth are the adults
ОтветитьIm thinking about selling my Index. Its too hot, my face hurts and its heavy wearing it, the base stations are a pain in the ass and adjusting the index to get to the sweet spot is near impossble. I only use it like twice a year and theres a black spot from sun burn in.
Ive my eyes on the Meta Quest 3. Seems like it doesnt have those issues. Good idea or not?
What is this horseshit, the q3 is selling just fine. I understand the clickbait cuz we all need to get paid. Narcissistic apes, the lot of us lol😶
ОтветитьQuest 3 is so much better than Quest 2! The following was removed from below, a response to me initial comment. I am not sure why YT (or whomever) removed the following:
"If price is a factor then everything is in question. Quest 2 becomes financially rubbish vs a used CV1 for £50 which has 90hz, individual OLED panels, superb external tracking, on the fly IPD adjustment, is the lightest HMD etc (or Quest 1 if you have no PC).
If you can't afford the Quest 3 then there's no point arguing. If the Quest 2 is all you can afford then that's all you can have, unless you buy as used Quest 3. The argument is about the proposition of extra worth/value. Also bare in mind the Quest 2 has only recently come down in price so if like-for-like prices are to be considered from 12 months ago then they're only £70 difference. Of course I'm fully aware that Quest initially launched for £299 - Meta continually take a loss on all HMD's to encourage adoption and hope to make money back in the long-term via software. It's also the reason why their peripherals are so expensive = an attempt to recoup expenses.
This video wasn't strictly about price, far from it. Price is a factor when price to upgrade is considered. Is the Quest 3 worth the extra £220. For the lenses, frame rate and resolution alone I'd argue it's worth the extra money - let alone the vast array of other improvements - especially when you consider the price of Index which has been outgunned by Quest 3 in almost all metrics barring tracking and some functions the knuckles controller offer but what Quest 3 offers that Index cannot absolutely compensates these largely minor issue for most players. Besides used Quest 3's are already between £300-£400.
If you have none of the above and the money is available then the Quest 3 is an absolute. Relative to the competition and the history of VR, Quest 3 is a gift!"
i'd play resident evil 7 at quest 1 resolution if it was available
ОтветитьThanks, I got myself a PSVR2, GT7 and a racing wheel + pedals.
ОтветитьI bought a Rift S in 2019 and it still works just fine, even though I barely ever use it. Should I upgrade to the Quest 3 anyway, for some reason, or should I just save myself the money by holding on to my Rift S because it still works well?
ОтветитьI'm gonna get the quest 3 this year. but it's true! my quest 2 is still very very good. I bought it like.. 2021. still pretty good. reasons I'm buying it, the passthrough it's better than my quest 2, the screen resolution, is better and... it's thinner! hell yes dude. About the battery, I don't really care, I don't spent like.. 4 hours using it. as long as I get 2 hours, I'm good. no... I'm not buying a apple vision pro.
