I’ve noticed your leaves are very large. Are you pulling leaves from the bottom only?. and do you recommend rinsing debris off of them first? Allowing them to completely dry before cutting up and putting in the jar?

I don't know which alcohol to use ! some say vodka, brandy, 100 proof and i don't know know where to get them as it seem to be always unclear in more of the Tincture videos. Not you in particular, in general. Good to make a video just covering this topic.

Hi April, I have a question. When you put it through the press do you need to also use a cloth to strain out the little leaf plant hairs? Also, how do you dose it? Should it be one drop per day? See how the body responds?

Did you wash the mullein leaves? O saw they were wet but you said from rain not from washing. I just made a tincture but didn’t wash the leaves. I just wiped them really well.

April I know you like to use fresh leaves but all I have is dried. How much dried would I use for tincture since it likes to suck up moisture? Like maybe half of the size jar I use? And cover completely with vodka?

Do you have to wash the plants and herbs before making the tinctures? Also, do you just drain the liquid from the tinctures after they've set for 6-8 weeks and put just the liquid into smaller jars or do you leave it all in the jar and use it from there? Please respond 🙏

I have read that dried first and then soaked in an oil based is best for Mullein specifically. That it reacts better to oil vs alcohol.

I have been looking for mullein all summer long everywhere I went and had no luck. By chance, I was on my porch and looking at my fuschia and noticed something behind it. Couldn't believe it, it was a mullein plant! I will be bringing this planter into the house so it can go to seed and put it under a grow light. Guess Mother Nature took pity on me and brought one to my door.❤❤❤

Hi idk if anyone has asked but a while back, last month. I took up a mullein that had dried up to keep the seed. You mentioned tincturing the roots. Is it the same for the leaves and is it ok if i washed the roots? It's been sitting in a paper bag and boy was it dusty in there with a few critters that sauntered out. 😊

Hi April, I've looked all over you Tube for directions on how to pulverize Mullein Root to make a powder.
I tried to chop it up in my Ninja food processor. No luck.
Today I soaked my roots to get them wet so I could cut them up in small pieces then dry them again. That's as far as I've gotten.
What a pain in the ass!😂
I'm not sure it's worth all of the effort. My hands are going to be so sore
from cutting with my heavy duty scissors.
Anyway, if you or any of your followers have suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi April. Do you have a video on making black walnut tincture and it’s uses? I have access to a lovely tree, they are ready and from the limited info I can find I need to take the green unblemished skin, remove and tincture. It seems people are using a high alcohol concentration which I will not use, I will use 100%. It’s a very interesting gift, black walnut is and I am excited for its many uses. However there seems limited info on it.
