Stevie was my role model. Best leader in sports history.
ОтветитьStevie Y? Cause he could!!!!
ОтветитьTo lead by example and block shots and risk your body as a star player and a leader that shows that your heart is with the team and would die for anyone out there only great leaders will be this way
ОтветитьHe is the greatest captain in history
ОтветитьLol the title is so un dramatic
ОтветитьO Captain my Captain.
ОтветитьNo panic to his game but very exciting to watch. Will always be a fan of his.
ОтветитьNo disrespect to Gordie Howe but he has to be the greatest Red Wings of all-time
ОтветитьThere is only 1 captain and it's Mr Yzerman, God I miss those days absolutely love these guys every single one of them,
ОтветитьTo give you an idea how long he played, he actually played with Darryl Sittler, Brad Park and Rick MacLeish his first two years.
Ответить6 consecutive 100 point seasons
Ответить19 seasons
ОтветитьMany of the highlights shown were Yzerman playing at Chicago Stadium.
Steve played outstanding at the home of the Blackhawks. I personally saw him get 2 Hat tricks at the Stadium. His game was perfect for the smaller ice surface : more quick than fast , great hands , quick release , tough.
He was never booed by Hawk fans. He was the most respected opponent I've seen. We all just wanted him on the Hawks. He would have been even better.
LGRW!!!! Greatest captain ever!!!!
ОтветитьThank you Stevie Y
ОтветитьHere in Detroit during the 90s, we knew Stevie was the guy who would lead the team to the cup, took a while but we knew it was going to happen eventually
ОтветитьHe had some nice goals but man, the goalies and defencemen were sooo much worse back then compared to what I’m used to seeing nowadays. They’re just flopping around on some of these goals lol
ОтветитьTwo words: The Captain.
ОтветитьI'm 43 and I still tear up when I see Stevie raise the Cup for the first time in 1997, just two days after I graduated from high school. It's something you can't write.
ОтветитьGreatest leader in the history of the game
ОтветитьThe most loyal player to ever play the game
ОтветитьThat 2002 team was just ridiculous: Yzerman, Hull, Shanahan, Datsyuk, Robitaille, Lidstrom, Chelios…
ОтветитьHe was and still is a symbol of excellence dedication and sportsmanship in the sport of hockey as a long time Detroit fan I am very grateful that he was and still is a Wing.
ОтветитьSports card of Steve 100k plus
ОтветитьStevie is the Best Wings player ever.
ОтветитьAnd he is still making Detroit a great team. I'm really looking forward to what will happen in 22-23.
ОтветитьMy favourite player and childhood idol, Steve is one of the all time greats and the prime example of what it means to be an NHL captain!
ОтветитьThat's my goat
ОтветитьIs it just me or does Stevie look like Michael Keaton? In that reasoning does Stevie look like BATMAN?
ОтветитьGoat GOat GOAt GOAT
ОтветитьClass. Pure class.
ОтветитьMost legendary man in hockey IMO. Not the best player ever but he’s top10 at least and easily the best modern GM.
Ответитьi didnt realize how good Stevie was. 7th all time when he retired? great job 19
ОтветитьOh Captain my Captain 🫡
Ответитьeasily the Greatest captain in NHL history.
ОтветитьCan’t believe he’s 5’-10”
ОтветитьMy all time favorite player #19!
ОтветитьHes the reason I wore number 19
ОтветитьGreatest player to ever play the game.. in my opinion
ОтветитьLiterally the best human breathing
ОтветитьSteve Yyzerman
ОтветитьYzerman was a cutie back then!!!!
ОтветитьForever and always The Captain
ОтветитьI live in Michigan ... and when Wings got him, they were really bad. I remember seeing the first few stat sheets & box scores (because they were not on TV all the time like now) and saying "who is this Yizzerman guy - he is doing okay?" Then it started to build and build . before you knew it we all knew how to pronounce his name. Then it was announced that Danny Gare wasn't the Captain anymore & Yzerman never looked back..... The legend of OUR Stevie Y was born..... !
ОтветитьHas he turkish roots?
ОтветитьYou can’t get any better in landing a guy to lead your organization. Now doing it from off the ice in the Wings front office, look for Detroit to become the powerhouse they used to be very soon. The city of Detroit hit the lotto when we got Stevie. And we all know it.
ОтветитьBilly is desiring Children's Foundations.
ОтветитьHey Steve Izyerman!
My apologies if I am not concurrent in spelling-bee. My brother who was named Billy Hugal from Mount-Royal Jr. High off-Calgary Alberta Canada wanted me to love and respect you, and he also named his kid after your-last name!
" Yzerman"!!!!°
Never liked the Red Wings, but Steve Yzerman is one of my all-time favorite players.
ОтветитьSteve Yzerman was a very talented player and a Class Act
