I took my car to auto zone it showed code P0420 Catalytic System Bank1.2. Catalytic converter Functunial Malfunction. My car is a Nissan Altima SR 2016

I got p0420 catalyst system efficiency below threshold bank 1 on my Nissan Rogue 2013. I went to 2 shops, and they both said to replace a new catalyst converter. :(

hi .thanks for the great video. i recently had a new cat fitted engine management light back on.mechanic now saying oxygen sensor are faulty and wants another£350😳i fitted 2 new after market sensors.engine management light is back on with a different code.any ideas 🤔

Hi I have a 2018 Audi A4 and while my the check engine don’t appear on my dash when I run my codes I get the P0420 code. I have a catted downpipe, Intercooler & Cold Air intake with Stg 2 tune, should I try the first step or would last step help more so I can pass emissions ?

I have a 2010 Honda Civic Hybrid, do I need to extend the sensor on the lower side or the upper side? For which one? Or for both?

I remap my car computer then I upgraded down pipe 400 cell and sometimes p0420, then i change the new 02 sensor , but still not solve the problem, need to remap again?

This code came out of my car, and it does not have a catalytic converter

I have ford fusion 2017 1.5se every time i change evap after 2 month same check engine. And failure after gas fill in station.

So I installed a catless downpipe and used an O2 extender on the downstream O2 sensor but still get the P0420 code at least once a day. Any tips or insight? Get a second extender to push it even further from the exhaust stream maybe?

Hello! 2012 Nissan Titan V8 I had a check engine light on for about a month now with no notable problems. Checked the gas tank top for cracks. Just scanned my truck and got the error code PO420. I have also just noticed that truck will eventually run hot while idling for over 20 minutes.
