Hi, I speak and sing in the same voice and my mom says this is my head voice is there any way I can switch to my chest voice? And when I sing along with others I have no volume is there any way to increase my volume?

When I first started singing & playing guitar at, what were at that time called hootenannys or coffeehouses, I was given the advice that my speaking voice & my singing voice should be different. I had a slightly high speaking voice. Making it higher, I sounded like a cartoon character; making it lower was even worse. So, I got an idea that not only worked, but has gotten me compliments on my singing. I changed my speaking voice.

This is awesome, parents will definitely be concerned for me 🤣 but wish me luck 🙏

Tbh, people around me say that I actually have a good voice, but the problem is that I never used it proudly as I tend to use my fake voice for higher notes :< I just feel bad that others can belt higher notes with their chest voice. Hope I'll get confident soon.

My chest voice sounds like a child so i always use my head voice and some falsetto whenever i need to hit a high note..😊
