Kontakt as Multitimbral Instrument in Logic Pro X

Hi Chrissy! Great tut! I have struggled with this for months and after watching this the fog has lifted. I only use multitimbral instruments and this has always been a sticking point for me in LogicPro X. Question...Why did you assign the HARP on Inst 1 to Kontakt outputs st.2 output 3/4 and not st1 output 1/2? Do you just leave the main instrument on it's own mixer channel with no assignment and create the 4 AUX channels for the instruments for a reason? Thanks again so much!

Great tutorial and nice voice! Just a bit confused about the additional "aux" tracks you created for the individual instruments. seems redundant that each instrument gets 2 tracks (1 input and 1 output) ?

In Logic X in this way the tracks cannot be muted independently, all instruments within a multi are muted at the same time.

Great video, But what is the benefit of naming the Inst 1 track to Kontakt and then creating the 4 corresponding tracks...as opposed to deleting the the track altogether?

Hi Chrissy, can you do a video on integrating Maschine 2 into Logic X as I'm having difficulty reroute get my instruments to logic Tre I route the drum channels.

great videos, i can actually follow what you are saying.

There is a quicker way to set the outputs. Go to presets, batch outputs and then clear out all outputs and set individual outputs for each channel.
