People like to think they know something no one else knows about or information they think isnt already absorbed by the market. Gives them an edge or false sense of superiority or mysteriousness. Financial media loves negative news or viewer generating words or phrases. Time in the mkt beats timing the mkt folks.

Presumably the pandemic was a black swan event for financial markets?

Hasn’t it been 80 years since Bretton Woods? Are we not at the end of a long term debt cycle? Did they not just beta test Fed Now/Fed Direct/CBDC? Is it not true that our monetary system is being redesigned? Is it normal to have reverse repo go illiquid and get bailouts in 2020 only to have different liquidity issues in 2023? When was the most recent time we have raised rates into a recession? Have we really had “normal” markets since 07/08 crisis? Is going back and forth between QE/QT and raising and lowering interest rates for 15 years normal? Are the brick nations not ditching the dollar to buy/sell oil etc? Is russia not invading ukraine, and china taiwan?

It would be interesting Mr. Fisher if you would comment on the random gurus touting that we have not seen the market lows yet. What’s their game? Just scare retail investors or what?
