Honestly our biggest problem is definition’s themselves. We say words like intelligence and life and start to classify objects and things into these categories but that’s the problem. Things are more complex than our understanding.

Would it be accurate to say that the tentacles are like miniature minds/individuals and the main octopus mind tells these tentacles neurons to do an action and because they’re smart and have “minds” almost, these signals can be more complex, instead of an just an action, it can give it a task such as disconnecting and running away?
