if anyones wondering how you can get the pitch of the note if your using something other than fl studio, you can put the sample into audacity's change pitch effect and it should scan what the pitch of the note is

The "Cut itself" feature isn't working for me, all the notes just keep playing and sound like hot garbage.

is it possible to tune it without it needing to be on the specific key relative to its sound. Like if i want to keybind the first key instead?

Yoo this video is seriously helpful, as it's confirmed to me that taking a single sound and turning it into an instrument is possible. Only issue is, I don't have FL Studio and instead use Waveform, so now I just gotta figure out how to do it there. Doesn't seem to be any tutorials for that, unfortunately, but I'm sure I'll figure it out 😅 If I ever end up using FL again, I'll definitely be coming back to this video!

Hi! Just tried following the tutorial and I'd like to ask how do I make that the sound plays as long as I am holding the key? It only plays the sample once and even if I make the sound goes for 1/4 note, my 1/8 note just plays in the first half of the note. Thanks!
