i like how early in the show isshin was foreshadowed to be a captian, i remember the fan theories that isshin was part of squad zero

Something I find interesting is that Isshin doesn't seem to have any personal matter with grand fisher. He's definitely aware that this hollow killed his wife but he remains completely calm, positive and treats the grand fisher like he's some ordinary weak hollow. He doesn't even speak a word about Masaki like say, "I have finally avenged you" or "You can finally rest in peace now"
