I honestly don't know what it is about Jetstream Sam's sword that makes people pair it with Raiden instead of his original sword. He didn't have the red bladed sword until bladewolf decided to create his own directives because Raiden taught him what it meant to fight for something he believed in (idk what pronouns you would use for bladewolf)

I’m sure other people have said this, but since in the description it says you don’t know Metal Gear Rising, I feel obligated to recommend it.

It’s a genuinely fantastic game, on of Platinum’s finest works. Combat is very much what you’d expect from them, it flows really nicely and has a lot of combos and stuff you can pull off. The story is really Solid (heh), with some really good theming. The soundtrack is genuinely phenomenal, especially with how the lyrics all tie in to the different characters. It also looks really damn good for a game that released on the PS3 and 360.

Also, the sword actually feels like a sharp cutting weapon in that game, as opposed to a more blunt weapon like in a lot of other games. Once you’ve got enemies in a vulnerable position, you can literally slice off limbs, weapons, shielding, etc, or if you’ve done enough damage, even their entire body into pieces.

It's amazing how well this fits.

Sequel story concept: a couple of years after the fight with Armstrong. Raiden decided to clean up the society and went on a killing spree on the people he thinks need to be killed. Sam somehow survived because bladewolf's readings were wrong. And Sam met raiden's son. They learned about raiden's massacre and wanted to put a stop to him. This would be the final boss fight.

Sam: oi, jack, i hate to say this, but your little cleansing game is over. Now hand over the muramasa.
Raiden: if you want it, you'll have to take it. But you already knew that.
Sam: Of course.
Raiden: How many times have we fought?
Sam: who's keeping track anymore. That's the only thing i remember about us since we met.
Sam pulls out a hf sword
Raiden pulls out muramasa
Both: let's dance.

Fight ends
Raiden and Sam charge at each other
John stops both with nano machine enhanced arm
