Hello everyone, is this the best Elegoo printer for jewelry details?

Rewatching videos to try and find a large(r) resin printer (bigger than my mars 2 pro) since my ld-006 leaked all over itself and died. Biggest thing missing is the autofill resin device. I am definitely looking for something with that as I have run out of resin in the vat too many times and wasted resin and time!

Received my printer today finally a month later. BIG LET DOWN. Hand prints all over the case to ruin that NEW out of the box first impression. Then go to install that Voxeldance slicer and the code doesnt work. Figured I'd try it out. Move on to Chitubox and Network Sending feature finds printer then fails to even send a TINY validation matrix print. Not impressed. Big let down so far, feel like they shipped me a used unit.

Do you have a non sponsored honest review. Or a direct comparison against the anycubic photon mono M5 which seems to have a very very similar spec sheet including Wi-Fi printing bill dimensions and 12 k resolution. I have been using the creality halot Plus for 4 months and loving it but randomly my touch screen stopped responding to touch input and so now it's a paperweight so I'm looking for a new one that is maybe a little higher resolution between $400 and $500 and this printer and the photon mono M5 are the two I'm debating, do you think this one is worth the $100 more

This may be a stupid question but can these 12k printers use the old standard resin or do they need the 8k resin? I have 4 bottles of the standard resin left from when my 1st gen Saturn died.

Hey bro, im starting to get interested in 3d printing. Any tips on which 3d printer model to buy? I dont mind it being around 500 bucks as long as the prints are gonna be detailed! They can be from the same company also. Is it hard to set them up? If i downloaded 3d models online and import them to the printer, im new to this so i dont know. Any tips would be great!

Hey Uncle Jessy I've been long time fan of your vids and you are the reason I bought a saturn 2 and now I'm angry and jealous because in the space of a year suddenly the saturn 3 is out with 12k 😂 are you able to share your resin settings for your saturn 2 as I've been having some time issues with mine and I had to increase the retract height and add some exposure time which made printing so much slower

I'm blown away by how cheap this machine is.

Can anyone let me know if I buy this 12k printer. Will I be okay to us 8k resin or will I have to get 12k resin? Cheers

Does the filter come with the Saturn 3?

COB Chip on Board LED Refractive is probably using a mirror or their Fresnel lens. With as much exposure as you have I wish you would look into things a little bit more, every review is the same. At least learn the tech that lifts you to such heights.

just bought one on the strength of your review. I have had elegoo machines since the first Mars came out. The only one i didnt like was the Jupiter (too many design faults). But the Saturn platform is a solid one that has been a joy to use.

Native 12k (12288 x 6480) is ~80mp, the printer's is ~59mp (11520 x 5120). The diagonal pixel count across 10" is ~12k. However, the total pixel count for the machine is around 58.9K, whereas native 12k is ~79.6k. Elegoo marketing it as 12k is a little disingenuous imo.
