I gotta disagree about POE1 "punishing" decisions. It adds gravity to builds and progression. I sincerely hope GGG doesn't get overzealous trying to attract a more casual player base. Either way...GOTY

The problem with these games is that the archer class is becoming more and more like a mage with a bow, rather than really fulfilling the feeling of a well placed arrow, rapid shooting, the feeling of a clean release, the distance, or the impact of shooting.

I will say that for me the dream is something like the Ranger Corp from a book series. High poundage bows, high accuracy shots, smooth fire rate.

They release poe2 beta later so Diablo4 expansion has been release. Very smart move! they can see how Last Epoch and Expansion D4 has to offer to players, and GGG can copy that stuff =) make that into masterpeace like they have done with Poe1 =)

People shit on D4 bosses being boring. That "butcher" jumped down, got staggered, and then died in the next cut. Peoples responses "WOW" 😂😂😂😂. This isnt a bump for D4 but if THATS them showing off the class and boss. It looks boring

Actually able to CC bosses with your skills that normally CC, what a concept

I was at PAX East and had a chance to play all three available classes (sorcerer, warrior, and ranger). Of the three, Sorcerer was by far the smoothest and easiest to play. Warrior was the hardest and felt like a drag to play but with WASD/Dodge/Shield, it should make for a deadly class in it's mastery. Ranger was just okay. Didn't feel too OP or too weak, same issue as warrior to the degree that the new movement mechanics in the game require a new level of mastery to make for true god mode status with these classes, that is within the short demo I was able to play. Also, if you thought POE1 had a big skill tree, wait until you see the size of POE2 🤯

I love how Jonathan is always so excited about stuff. The delay is a bit of a bummer but expected with how hard it is to balance moving while casting without a proper alpha. And I understand them wanting to do a NDA'd alpha because the action combat is what will make or break this game to a larger gamer audience who is less tolerant of jank

Edit: having very few bosses that are optional but really-really difficult to defeat is amazing. makes the bosses that much cooler.
