how do you feel play in 60-70 fps with frame gen? for me i dont like it, minimum 80-85 fps is good for frame gen

Just realized what that blurry jutter behind the vehicles is. It's the game trying to keep up with dynamic ray traced shading and shadows. Initially I thought it might be artifacting from frame generation or dlss, but I turned those off and it was still there. There's a strong argument that ray tracing is being over used in this scenario.

If you optimize your settings you can actually gain about 10-15fps on Quality mode. I started on performance w/ max settings to stay capped at 115 fps but then optimized my settings and bumped up to Balanced mode which still kept me at 105-115. Then after a few days I decided to see how Quality mode would perform w/ the new optimized settings and sure enough it runs around 85-95 in the city and 100-110 every where else. A lot of the settings ppl crank up to High or Ultra are not generally perceivable so its wasted performance and I'm playing on a LG C1 48" OLED so if your on a smaller display it's even better because you see less detail.

Nice game, it costs you a kidney to play, but the visuals are really game changer guys , believe me!

How is the input latency? Must've been terrible.

I got 10 fps more with 2k Performance on 4080 laptop

Same here but 4070...but i still prefer playing without path tracing, to me game somehow looks better that way
