I purchased the Arken last week for $224 on Amazon. Same model you reviewed. Hopefully, they corrected the moisture issue since you made this video. I got the MIL version.

Nice rep, thanx for yr effort. Personally If I have to stick to oriental made scopes low to mid price, 1) HAKKO Japan 2) Vector China... ciao...PS over here in Italy prices are a bit less that twice as high.. some of those brands are not even imported into EU....

Vortex made by Scopro Optical Co, Philippines . Googled it and it’s a shabby looking place. These scopes don’t cost $50 to produce 😮

Vortex really? Lenses glued in. Vortex won’t pay for shipping if it fails unless you request it and even then take months to pretend to fix it 😮Lenses not coated on lower end scopes and they white out at dusk 😮Buy a better brand and never deal with warranty problems

Thank you, great content, but I have to make the joke: Laughs in German. :D Because our Zeiss lenses are just so damn expensive. Though not necessarly better, that's why its only a joke. ;)

I grew up using MOA, as far as I know that was all that was available in the USA or was at least the standard. But once I discovered MIL I never looked back, and thus your poll kinda surprised me.
I just find mil faster and simpler to use than moa.
As for the list, I can't say I have any of the exact models used, I do have Athlon, Arken, and Primary Arms scopes, along with others but of all I like my Arken the best.

Update: Arken now has a lightweight version (24.11 oz) EPL 4-16x44 FFP in 30mm under $400. The EPL (EP Light) is the Lightweight Hunter version of the EP (Extreme Precision) series.

Both the Arken and the Blackhound Have an unconditional warranty, so this testing is invalid if you didn't even give them a chance to repair them. I own most of these scopes, and you eliminated the best two first.

I think the point of the scopes being waterproof is so that they are hermetically sealed and moisture doesn’t get in. The last thing you want is for your scope to start fogging up.
