A couch purchased at Franco Cozzo lasted 3 generations of bums, and just got put out for hard waste collection last June 🥳. ❤️ that yellow Barber shop. Are they all gone in Preston too? Amazing photos. A bygone era. Now one suburb looks like any other.

Not from Melbourne, but I miss the old corner stores of the suburbs.
I remember the days before supermarkets.
You would have a small grocery shop, next door, a butcher, then a fruit and veg shop.
A trip to the bank or Post Office and then walk home.
