4 EXPERT Level Build Tricks You DIDN'T KNOW: Sims 4 Tutorial and Hacks #Shorts

For those who are wondering why F5 quarter tile placement would be used instead of Alt placement (free placement) 😀 F5 placement is much more useful when you want many items to line up exactly. For example, the new modular sofa pieces need to be placed individually. If you want to move the entire couch back a TINY bit, F5 placement will allow for the pieces to line up and snap together perfectly on a quarter tile. Another example is if you want to raise your kitchen cabinets up SLIGHTLY, it is far easier to press F5 and bump them up a quarter tile and have them snap perfectly in a row, rather than manually Alt place each one of them. 😎

My keyboard has no number pad and the other + key doesn't work for this color trick very annoying :(

Btw this is another hack you click shift ctrl and c at the same time and a square in the left corner will show up which you type bb.moveobjects then click enter. It basically just gives you the option to place things closer to each other and is very helpful.


Also for money if you type motherlode in the same box it will give you 50k money or when you are in the map buying a house you will see a builders thing at the bottom when you click on a house (I think) and if you click that you get infinite money. Just some tips that weren’t mentioned!


(Edit: with the bb.moveobjects you can raise objects using the 9 key or lower them using the 0 key for placing on shelves and stuff)

For us Xbox players we can do that just you have to know your mapping of your keys once you know how to size up and free place items using just the triggers yours golden 😊
