this vid was so helpful, excellent advice! just perfect for photographing my wooden items using the phone too 👍👍 id never have thought about taking 1.1 pics, always used 16.9 and struggled massively
ОтветитьHave you ever used two light bars (or other light source) to help with shadow control?
ОтветитьThank you this really helped but i have a little problem when i take the pictures even though the background is clean,in the photos there are little dirt places, what can i do them to go away? (The background is clear.)
ОтветитьPlease, some other shops selling this kind of light box? It seems to be discontinued from Amazon? Thank you!
ОтветитьThank you Martin! Your shared experience on smartphones & soft boxes was very helpful .
ОтветитьIs it possible to buy these lightbars separately?
ОтветитьBrilliant video, answered 2 questions in 1 for me , what a lightbox is and can you take good pics with a phone. Thanks 👏
ОтветитьWhy don't you elevate the bowl that is lower using props?
ОтветитьIts now out of stock, and I cant see anything similar (with the option to light from the front). Do you know of any similar ones?
ОтветитьNice demonstration, got a lot more from it than from reading a few articles before that :D
ОтветитьThank you so much for a very helpful video. I would really like to buy the same light box as yours - the movable lights are a great advantage. I've tried the link you gave, but unfortunately it's not available on Amazon. Do you know of anywhere else that might sell it? Does it have a name on it?
ОтветитьHi Martin. Really liked your video. Very straightforward and easy to follow. I looked for a lightbox similar to yours on Amazon but didn't see one. I like yours because the LED lights are adjustable and most of the boxes shown have built-in lights. Could tell me where to find the link? Didn't see it on your website. Thank you.
ОтветитьPlain, simple and straight to the point! My grateful thanks for an informative video that was an excellent watch. 👍
ОтветитьThank you 😊😊😊
ОтветитьHello. Thank you for such an excellent video. You described everything in great detail that is so useful and beneficial those who are looking into taking product pictures, like me. Thank you very much. I produce handmade products that require photography too and they are reflective. So what you shown us was really very useful. Bless you sir.
ОтветитьFOSITAN Photo Studio Light Box 24"/60cm 252 LED Light Bi-Color Dimmable 3200K-5700K with 6 Color Backdrops
ОтветитьThanks so much for this. I have the same light box and NEVER thought about moving the lights around like that.
ОтветитьThat is amazing! Thank you so much good Sir!!! :)
Ответитьis the background reading as grey? Is there an easy way to get it to appear white without editing in post?
ОтветитьVery useful, have just purchased the tent for watch photography and the techniques used here are transferable to my hobby.
ОтветитьCould you please try taking a shinning jeweller necklace photo using this light-box.
You can show us using phone camera and any other dslr camera
Thanks, great job. Pics look great.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this video!
ОтветитьI was looking for a Light box and stumbled on your video and now I bought the same one! Thanks for a great video!
ОтветитьI loved your video I would like to purchase one of those light boxes like you show on your video. Where can I purchase one for myself. Thanks Margie
ОтветитьExcellent, relaxing and easy to follow.
ОтветитьI cant order using your affiliate link, so I’ll drop a little bit this way to say thanks. I’ve been DIYing with awful results, and your tutorial really helped.
ОтветитьHi Martin! Thanks for this lovely insight in your product photography. Never considered using a grey background, but I may have to switch to it… looks awesome for items that aren‘t „flashy“. And I’ll have to adjust the placement of my light bars, too! I‘ve got an old iPhone that is not as suitable as yours seems to be for product shots so I usually have to bring out my camera. I’d love to switch to a phone, though. Would you mind sharing which model Samsung you were using in this vid? 😀
ОтветитьWhy do my (and your) images always come out dark, with a grey background? These light boxes are lit up like the sun. And yet, we get dark pics. I don't get it.
ОтветитьI was considering getting one of these for ages but wasn’t sure about the quality of photos taken in these. Thank you for this video :) If I decide to get one from Amazon I’ll definitely use your link ;)
ОтветитьHi, where are the lights from please?
ОтветитьHi mate, quick question @M. Saban Smith Woodturning - that amazon link for the light box, does it come with the lights or is that separate? thanks.
ОтветитьMay I please get a link (or info) for the tripod used with your phone?
ОтветитьThank you for making this video. I usually photograph jewelry and I just purchased a 12" x 12" light box. It is awesome. I'm still learning so hopefully 😌 will get even better as I have more experience.
ОтветитьThank you so much. I'm starting up a hobby that might take off and I purchased a light box to get pics. You easy instructions will really help.

ОтветитьMartin I have great difficulty having the background remain in place. Do you secure it some way? this was not clear in the video. Or is it perhaps left in the box when you pack up? I have been reluctant to use the box because of the time taken to repeatedly replace the background and to keep my blood pressure in the normal range.
Thanks
Colin
You can give more padding with photoshop by stretching the background...
ОтветитьThank you. A very helpful video. I’m looking for ways to improve my Etsy shop photos. Thanks again.
ОтветитьGreat video and explanation 😊
ОтветитьThank you for great review.
Your link for the light box is not working. Do you know where I could get one of these in 80cm? All I can find has a skeleton construction to hold it..
Your is more convenient.. I am also in AU.
Thank you in advance😇
This looks like it is going to be great, thanks for showing such a great example of how to use it!
ОтветитьWhere did you buy your light box kit?
ОтветитьBrilliant tips, particularly in relation to shadows. Thank you.
ОтветитьGreat help. Of course the camera exposure is calibrated to 18% middle grey, which is why your white background is not white. But this is easily fixed by adjusting the exposure..
ОтветитьThank you so much for this 🙂
ОтветитьBut ist still Grey the background it looks bad
ОтветитьThank you for uploading this video really helpful 🙏
ОтветитьHow on earth do you attache the background colours? There is no velcro etc.
