Nice work! I wish I had gone to art school. It is true for sure what you're saying about the stress involved in pumping out paintings! It would cause me stress too but on the flip-side, this teaches you to push yourself to learn at a faster rate. This discipline is something, at fifty-eight years old, I still haven't accomplished! I seem to start things with great enthusiasm, take forever and then abandon because they feel stale, or I'm bored of the subject or lesson. A.D.D.?! Not sure. I have the talent, the patience and the desire but everything seems to exist in the sketchbook partially finished or overworked. I see others learning, painting and finishing but I just never seem to have enough time to do studies that I learn from. They feel rushed and/or unfinished and I lose confidence and enjoyment of it! Anyway, you're lucky to have learned this discipline as it is totally necessary but I can imagine it's quite stressful also at times!

That’s the first time I’ve watched an art vlog and seen the reference photo on an iPad. I know it sounds silly but I feel like I’m not a real artistic i copy a photo from my iPad. Really it’s just the same as looking at a photo- I just have this misconception that artists paint from their imaginations but it’s not the 18th century anymore 😂😂

New sub here! And I also agree as a freshman in art school. I always felt like it was a competition when I was on a break, and tried improving my art because there were school competitions so I felt more pressure to do it when I wanted to improve my skills, but my family also put so much pressure on me to do it. I burned out a bit and decided to work at my own pace and show my art when I feel I’m ready
