ОтветитьCan you review the new version of the acer swift 5? It has dual copper pipes (an upgrade to this trashcan), MX350 graphics, and the new intel cpu + gpu. Would love to see a review!
Ответитьcan I play sims with this one?
ОтветитьVery good review and got all the facts in place

ОтветитьUncle give away

ОтветитьVery useful and clear review... Thanks matt 👍👍👍
ОтветитьIs this laptop good for editing and streaming
ОтветитьIs it good for programming
ОтветитьWhat if it accidentally fell from your bag? Will it have major complications to its system, screen, etc.?
ОтветитьCan someone explain to me how the CPU performance is throttled? Is there any way around this? I was planning on getting this with a eGPU for some gaming, but if the CPU is a bottleneck then it makes so sense.
ОтветитьCan we take off the 1080p sticker?? Why people are talking about it like we cant take it off? Can or not
ОтветитьI thought touch screen mostly use glossy, not matte screens, no? Correct me if I'm wrong.
ОтветитьLight is going Banaanza!! Subscribed😍
ОтветитьCan you tell me this price?
Ответитьhi, is the keyboard in plastic or metal?
Ответитьhow can the i5 8th gen is same performance with i7 10th gen as you result.. lol ? so i just bought the 8th gen instead then have same performance as 10th gen , is this ?
ОтветитьIs it also bottlenecking if we use external gpu with it? I am looking for low to medium ultrabook, with thunderbolt. But if bottleneck also happens with egpu, then there is no reason having thunderbolt..
Ответитьis editting , autocading , designing for construction apps suitable for this laptop
ОтветитьI have had the i7, 16 gb of ram and the 512 SSD now for about a month and the only thing that i have noticed so far is the finger print reader won't always work on the first go. You have to do it multiple passes sometimes. It runs Photoshop and Lightroom effortlessly all the while running multiple programs at the same time. The only real downfall (for me) is i have to use a thunderbolt 3 card reader to transfer my photo's. Not a big deal as i just leave the dongle in my carry case anyway. If your thinking of one, you won't be disappointed.
ОтветитьThis looks great for college student. Quite in class, powerful enough for word, Netflix, etc.
ОтветитьMatt,Could you plz help me test sft 5 playing league?I'm wondering about the FPS,literally thx
ОтветитьDoes this laptop replace the entry level MacBook air for university students?
ОтветитьWhich laptop is overall best under or around $500 ???
ОтветитьThey're definitely more worth it than a MacBook Air. More power, upgradability and IO for a lower weight.
Ответитьwas on the verge of getting something like LG gram.. until i found a good remote access service like parallel access. this way, i can just carry my ipadpro12.9 or ipad mini or tabs6.. and hook up to a powerful laptop/desktop whenever i need via wifi/lte. this costs more but u will get great mobile UX on-the-go with highly productive OS whenever the need arises..
ОтветитьPls do a lenovo S340 review pls!!!!
ОтветитьYou want light that doesn't make a lot of sound. Get the new surface pro 7 it is light and the i5 variants doesn't even have a fan. 🤷♂️ if you are getting light then surface pro 7 would be the best bet. Otherwise dont go that light go for something that is near 1.35kgs to 1.6kgs you will get a lot of better performance laptops in this range.
ОтветитьLol, imagine that you're getting fired from a job because your laptop fans kicking up...
ОтветитьYo yo yoooo🔥
ОтветитьDo tell us how much you are payed for wearing that T-shirt ? And since companies can PICK YOUR CLOTHES why should your viewers trust ANYTHING you say ?
ОтветитьThe only advantage to a thin-and-light laptop?...is weight. Other than that you're giving up WAY too much! I prefer USB ports...(and not just USB-C!) you give up video ports..(once again..if all you have are USB-C's?...you'll be living the dongle-life for a long time!) I think thicker laptops have their purpose still...and if you need evidence?...take a look at the System76 Serval...or Lenovo's "WS" (aka W-ork S-tation) series!...these laptops have PORTS...and connections other than just a USB-C. I prefer older thicker laptops...yeah...they're heavy...and they might not have the fastest processors, or the speediest SSD's in em...(which in some cases can be alleviated easily with a 2.5" SSD!) but they perform..and I can connect to ANYTHING...without having to use a "USB-to_Whatever" connection cable! Not to mention the sturdiness of thicker laptops....you accidentally bump one of those wafer-thin laptops off a table?...guess who's headed to the repair store?...or shipping it back to get it fixed?.....meanwhile...I own laptops that have:
fallen down two flights of stairs in a stairwell
fallen off the roof of a car that pulled off suddenly
have had bottles of water spilled on it
have been sat on "accidentally"
and have been pulled off a desk by someone getting their leg entangled with the power cord...and these laptops are STILL WORKING with NO TRIPS to the repair shop! So you can keep your "thin-as-a-Post-It" laptops...I'll take the sturdier, longer lasting stuff.
I personally think this is just a move by OEM's to force people to get their wallets out to spend more...the more fragile the device...the more likely you'll be tempted to "just get another one since they're available".
Nah....I'll pass.
Hi Matthew Moniz,
I just bought this exact model off Amazon three days before your review ( I use it for studying machine learning, beginner ), can U please explain a bit more about CPU under-clocking the GPU, and if u suggest users like myself to overclock the CPU?
i.e. does the motherboard and CPU allow overclocking? How much overclocking is the sweet-spot...
Regarding power drainage, will overclocking the CPU in a non-plugged-in state damage the battery in anyway(e.g. longevity, rapid charging capabilities)?
Hope you can address these in your in-depth review, I look forward to it.
Regards,
Matt
i need a mid range best video editing laptop.
could you please suggest me which one will be better for me?

Just make sure to not fry the motherboard again like the last time LMAO XDD
