What'd I miss? What are some other essential navigation tips!?
ОтветитьOne of the most helpful videos I've found on navigation. Thank you so much.
ОтветитьVery clear and helpful. Thank you
ОтветитьNice video! Thank you very much
ОтветитьThanks for changing background scean.
ОтветитьYour videos never fail to impress!
ОтветитьAbout the tip#6 i would not suggest making it bold or Scaling up the size cuz that would make the whole nav moves and no one likes that effect
ОтветитьYou're the boss!
ОтветитьI like your channel so I've decided to bombard it with comments.
ОтветитьYou absolutely rule. I pick up at least one skill I carry into my work after each video, much appreciated!
ОтветитьFor a simple project I made 7 different nav systems that web design use. I done research on navigation and realize, yes there is 7 way.
ОтветитьI see Gary as a Peter McKinnon of web development.. that's actually really awesome, with his vibrant vibes and really really useful tips
ОтветитьThe length of this style of video is great. Just the right amount of time for when you stop to eat or something.
ОтветитьThanks for making this content, some really useful tips that a lot of people forget to consider. Especially number 8, the only comment I would make about this is to add the subtext 'menu' whilst a few years ago there was a bit of research done about the discoverability of burger menus and adding the word 'menu' improved people finding the menu by quite a bit.
ОтветитьEnjoyed 😀
ОтветитьFont size you prefer for nav links?
ОтветитьCan anyone explain the tab part.. I didnt understand it is it only understandable only by css coders..
ОтветитьGreat Video !! Hope can share more about UX !!
Ответитьthat was epic!
ОтветитьWhy this guy so handsome ❤
ОтветитьI wish you would've talked about mobile navigation as well! But awesome tips regardless :)
ОтветитьThanks bro
Ответитьwindows 11 is here
Ответитьawesome timing was just working on a navbar in figma
ОтветитьAlso make your navigation bar position sticky , so that the visitor can easily reach it without scrolling top of the page just for nav bar.👍
ОтветитьYou're my hero.
ОтветитьAll advices are great, one thing I am not a fan of is sticking to trends all websites look the same these days no creativity anymore
ОтветитьI love these quick and clear tips !
ОтветитьThank you, all are awesome points, it would have amazing if you have added 3-4 more tips and solution for
12. Large primary navigation/Large secondary navigation
13. Use of Icons on navigation
14. Secondary/Tertiary navigation behaviour on small devices
15. Navigation with more than one search filters and their behaviour on small devices
Sir we need more this type of videos
ОтветитьConcerning tip #9 on nav location, what do you think about the nav being at the bottom of the screen on mobile?
Heatmaps on mobile devices show our thumbs can only reach so far haha. Would menus/nav bars be considered more user-friendly if they were at the bottom?
Sir which software you are using for making your video slides?
ОтветитьGreat 👍 sir! What you are teaching is what I am looking for?
ОтветитьGreat information as always! The only item that would concern me would be the two home links adjacent to each other (accessibility issue). I totally understand about the studies. So many times accessibility struggles with either aesthetics or preferred functionality.
Ответитьi'm 100% sure that you animate this with Adobe Xd in Prototype View :D
ОтветитьHey! ya know what? I'm subscribed, and I have the bell icon clicked, but I wasn't told about the Kevin Powell design thing. I got notified a month later. That's the pits man 😶
ОтветитьHey, what did you use to make this presentation? Is it FIGMA?
ОтветитьYour hair looks glorious here.
ОтветитьFantastic advice. Love the stuff about accessibility. It's often overlooked.
ОтветитьThat's funny, only gave yourself 11s for the introduction. Great vi....😋
ОтветитьGary's looking cool with this long hairstyle!
ОтветитьGood tips!
ОтветитьLiking the shorter intro! Nice choice
ОтветитьSticking navigation to the left doesn't necessarily sound like bad design as long as the icons that represent each section of the page are clear and easy to read, but I do agree that being "way too creative" could be harmful to the UX.
ОтветитьCool. Thx
Ответитьtip for number7 _ use only black and white 🤣🤣
