Paid off my house and now starting to save for a down payment on a 991.1Turbo S.
ОтветитьYou didn’t answer your own question
Ответить2017 991.2 4s powerkit manual with ceramic brakes, bucket seats, sport chrono, mahogany interior. That's my favorite
ОтветитьEasy.The most beautifull is ..
964 .The best is always..the latest.
I miss my 991.1 GTS... the last NA Carrera GTS
ОтветитьGRANDE PORSCHE 🇮🇪 ❤️ 👍 🔝
ОтветитьGreat video. Very informative
Ответить991.1 991.2 992 - that's a lot of one's ... Just give me one
ОтветитьNo mention at all of the 4S?
ОтветитьYou forgot to illustrate the small differences between the 997.1 and 997.2,,,,
Ответитьlol, I hate them very much too. Not really. I'm glad someone can play Boy Racer to the MAX. Thanks for your vids.
Ответить991.1 GT3RS...sweet spot for me.
ОтветитьThe 991.2 is the greatest and the best looking 911 , its combine both words , modern and classic !!!
Sead by me 😊
Everyone talks about carrera T being a parts bin model which is not. It has its own characteristic, engine mounted 2 inches further front for better handling, spoiler raised higher than any base models and comes standard with PASM sport suspension which is equipped with stiffer anti-roll bars and handles corner much better than S model. Besides, its base engine is a sweet spot because it emulated the NA feeling while being turbocharged. S and GTS due to enormous torques of more than 500NM, it has some turbo lags and sudden power surge.
ОтветитьNice video and summary of the model choices. But I believe there was a Carrera 4 GTS in 2015 (991.1) but the table shows it being blocked out.
ОтветитьNA flat 6 is the way to go
ОтветитьSo......if the 991.2 GT3 can cost up to USD$500k......then how much for the GT2RS with the Weissach package???
ОтветитьVery informative video
ОтветитьJust what I needed in my hunt for a 991.1 4S or GTS! Still undecided.
ОтветитьGreat job, Jay!
ОтветитьBest 911 is one that’s paid for
Ответить991.2 gt3 for me
Ответить👌👌👌👌👌
ОтветитьFirst of all, thank you for producing such excellent videos about my favourite car (the Porsche 911) - the in-depth information and your style of presenting make them very enjoyable and remind me of the original Top Gear.
As the proud owner of a somewhat unique, 991.1 C4S Exclusive (with 50th Anniversary detailing), I feel that despite what 'purists' may believe, it's an excellent example of all that's good in a late model 911.
Lighter than the 997 it replaced and with as much power as the previous Turbo. Equipped with a Porsche Sports Exhaust, its engine sounds glorious when stretched towards the redline but is just as capable of delivering excellent fuel economy in everyday driving.
Unlike the rarer and more track biased GT cars, it's chassis is composed on rough surfaces and delivers a sporting but comfortable ride (especially when fitted with the DSC Sport PASM controller)..
Most of the time the 4S is in fact a rear wheel drive car and whilst there's a small trade-off in weight (70kg) and steering feel, the cars ability to shuttle power to the front wheels when driving close to the limit, tightens the front end and allows the driver to make rapid progress, with considerable confidence, whatever the road or weather conditions.
Visually, the 4S might not shout about its capabilities but with the exception of the Turbo, it's a blisteringly fast car point to point and all the better for being naturally aspirated.
Some 911's are rarer, some are more 'classic' but IMHO, the 991.1 C4S really is all the 911 anyone could need on the road.
I believe it, is the one you drive !!
ОтветитьThe Targa wins. Best looking 911 ever
ОтветитьI think the 50th Anniversary Edition has a 3.8L with power kit and therefore should have a power output of 420 hp.
ОтветитьFerdinand Porsche must be rolling over his grave knowing his perfect sportscar turned into humongous minivan. The modern 911 is anti Ferdinand Porsche.
ОтветитьPersonally, my accessible and reasonable dream car, so not "money-no-issue" dream car, is the 2012 Carrera S in black with grey Sport Techno rims. Around 70k. First iteration of the 991 with the narrow body, cleanest look and not insanely expensive on the second hand market. Money no-issue, I think I'd get either a Singer, a GT3 touring or a 911r but the first one of the first 200 produced destined to 918 owners in white with red stripes, absolute perfection.
New 992 are not my thing, too wide, chunky back, it's not that elegant anymore. And also, not a fan of the 4 points-led and straight lines on the bonnet in general.
Old models are good for purists etc. But maintenance must be stupid high, and interior is just too old for me. I want to listen to spotify while cruising.
The most wanted: 993 Carrera S. The ultimate true 911...
Ответитьtouring
Ответить2015 Carrera S = Best Bang for the Buck!!
ОтветитьThat was dull...
ОтветитьEpic video, enjoyed every second of it
ОтветитьSubscribed. Straight to the point, informative and non intrusive reminder to subscribe.
ОтветитьFor budget minded I'd say a Carerra S, I mean 400hp NA is nothing to sneeze at...I'd got for the GTS if I could though...
Ответить991.2 GTS with PDK
Ответить9K rev, perfect 6 speed, GT3 chassis, open top, limited. -----> last 991: SPEEDSTER
ОтветитьNice series. Thanks for the time and effort!
Ответить991.1 for me.
ОтветитьMr Purple-The way the PDK shifts/sounds is glorious!! Car handles like a Fireblade!!!!
ОтветитьThe 19 Thumbs Down are courtesy of the extended trump family. Sum total of those 19 IQ’s = 87
ОтветитьReally ? Who cares 90 percent off population can’t afford a new Porsche
ОтветитьGreat editing and info... really enjoyed that part of it.
The Astronaut Subscribe is super ANNOYING. I was trying to concentrate on the facts and figures being thrown out, and then this effing Astronaut flashing in the corner totally broke my concentration.
For that reason alone, I found this video really irritating.
On top of that, his "joke" about hating people who can afford a track car is: A) NOT FUNNY; and B) Really shows his spoilt upbringing. Entitled.
Best Porsche is the one you can afford and not worry about being a money pit!
Ответить996 is definitely for everyone to own!
ОтветитьAnswer: the one you can afford. Can't really go wrong. Its a 911.
ОтветитьVery good compilation, my friend. Greetings from Berlin.
ОтветитьPorsche didn’t make the Gt3 touring to spoil any legacy. They did that on purpose to shaft the 911R owners who wanted a million bucks for their cars. Well done Porsche. Respect for you as a manufacturer for doing all of us right.
Fabulous video. Truly well made and informative. Well done 👍
Easy ... GT3 Touring is the best pure drivers for the road ... 911R dialed to 11/10
