I still remember seeing The Black Dahlia Murder at Ziggy's way back in the day, and Trevor said (paraphrasing) "The critics didn't like this album, but I think it's pretty good." And the crowd sang all the new songs, and I swear that changed how they wrote their music because this album wrote the blueprint for everything they came after. That was one hell of a club. Of course, it's all gone now.
