MS just confirmed this was a technical error and they are working to restore all the accounts that were deactivated, and that they have no plans to take away this feature.

I use my ps4 jailbreak for retro games and the ps5 just to play new games

So if I can activate it on my settings screen does that make it ok? Or do I pay in that same setting to have it? I just don't want to activate it and get banned. My kids want to learn about development and stuff.
