Brandon Sanderson's The Stormlight Archive series is his best work, all 5-star reads. Also, The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss is another 5 stars!

Duuuude you need to read more historical fiction!! A lot of it is written about women in the various wars (spies, coders, partisans etc) - so many badass women, many of them are based on true stories!

My favorite Stephen King books are Rose Red and The Stand. So so good. Mildly horror (I get spooked easily too). A really good opener into his books

Stephen King, The Institute. He knocks my socks off every time and I’m not big on horror. He’s got so many that aren’t horror!! Billy Summers was the first I read of his too ❤

would you be able to tell a name of one of the magic/fantasy books you have read before. I can’t find the video I saw it in and alls I can remember is on each chapter page there are small cute drawings that give an idea of how the magic/world is like. Haha so sorry about this😂🤍

I just reread the Mythos Academy series which I read years ago when I was 15 or 16 or something and I was hooked on every single book. I read all six books in 1,5 weeks so i highly recommend them :))!!

I am soo happy to see you read Stephen King. His books are phenomenal. I really recommend The Shining if you haven’t read that one yet. A very warm book, I listened to an old 1950s jazz track while reading it just to get that 4D feeling. IT is also really good but it’s veeery scary which may not be your type. However it’s still a 6 Star Read, maybe a big assumption but I just really loved those 1376 pages. And the final one The Davinci Code. I cant say much about this one. But a mystery thriller that can’t get you to stop reading. Most chapters will end forcing you to read the next one as if your a puppet. Realllly intresting and gruesome in a way.

There is a series that I recently finished, The Asendence Series, it isn't really popular but the books are pretty short and I loved the books and think you should try them out, the chapters are short and you read them pretty quickly. (It is a 5 book series)

I am so disappointed you gave Babel 3 stars!! It was excellently written and explored issues of racism and colonialism… it was one of the best books I ever read! If I could have given it more than 5 stars I would have!

I’ve been wanting to branch away from romance also and only have it as subplots since I’m getting a little bored from all the steamy scenes lol but!! If you haven’t read the mindf*ck series, you absolutely need to! A serial killer and romance have never gone so well together! Thanks for this video! Will
be adding your 4.5 and 5 picks to my TBR

I stayed away from Stephen King until a couple of years ago. His books seemed so intimidating because of how thick they were. I was in the mood for a real horror/ thriller and he gave me all of that in Mr. Mercedes! I got the audiobook from the library and still think of that book sometimes. The way he tells story is so unique and easier to get through than I imagined. I now know what all the fuss is about. :)
