NS can be the most intimidating hero at night or the weakest at day. This is what pub players couldn't understand and nagging you to fight in daytime or when you dont have the SS, especially in early game when his HP is really low, has weak DMG, couldn't keep enemies silenced long enough to finish them off, and being so slow, not to mention about his night sight which makes huge difference in initiation. So please keep in mind that timing is really essential for him.

Also, his SS resets all of the skills. So, if you have enough mana to spend he could deal over 600 magic dmg in an instant and silence for 10 sec straight.
