Maybe I missed it, but where did the plastic piece come from?
ОтветитьI have seen bikes that the owner did this mirror finish work on the engine side cases. This was a popular customize job on the old XS 650 Yamaha engines. There was a problem when making the engine look so good….
it really makes an older motorcycle look like crap. It’s like having a filthy car with two brand new chrome bumpers on it without washing the car. Or just washing the windows on a muddy car… you have to be sure to Put the effort into the whole vehicle
Too bad you don't spend more time riding than polishing. In 2001 I came across a '91 Harley with 1,800 miles- my '91 BMW had 93,000.
Ответить👏👏👏👏👏
ОтветитьIt's all ready polished
ОтветитьWhat spots on chopper wheels how to remove
ОтветитьAwesome man!!! I just ordered both the tool and the polish. I just bought a 2001 W 650 that was neglected and left uncovered for 5 years. This tip will help me bring her back to life!
Ответитьdo you mean you use the same mothers formulations for aluminium, and paint for cutting back?
ОтветитьI love Mother's!! I always use it on my bikes! I haven't tried using my oscillating tool like this though. That'll be my next thing to try. Thanks for the tip!
ОтветитьAn added bonus to it looking fantastic is, polished surfaces are easier to clean! Love your work and ideas!!
ОтветитьLife’s too short.
Ответитьoutstanding hack man, thx for sharing
ОтветитьI used to paint jeyes fluid on when warm but not hot hot and just spray off with water. Stank a bit but effective
ОтветитьSo much reflection you'll have to do the bottom of the fins! Very nice.
ОтветитьLife's too short mate
ОтветитьThis dude is one cool cat
ОтветитьYou want to use a fine thread pitch on your 2 machine screws that will be vibrating like no tomorrow. Clever idea for shortening up all the sanding though.
ОтветитьWho would care if it's shiny or not 🤔
Ответитьdes rivets pop auraient été mieux que le systèle vis/écrou..!! mais bravo pour ce travail...ça brille...!!
Ответитьamazing!!
Ответитьwhat about if someone has put paint on the engine and I want to take it off and polish the fins ?
ОтветитьUnfortunately, although polishing looks better it decreases heat dissipation.
ОтветитьKool beans 😊
ОтветитьJust use gorilla glue and clamp it together. It will be much easier than drilling holes and will hold stronger with nothing sticking out.
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьI been a carpenter for 30 years now and a all around fix anything type of guy those multifunction tools rock great tool. I would suggest trying the cordless dewalt to its variable speed which is so freaking helpful in a lot of ways. As for the head bolts I would get some locking chrome caps with the little Alan screws they look good and lots of different styles. Great video keep pumping out the helpful content.
ОтветитьGreat idea bud. Thx a bunch.
ОтветитьYou're shining imperfections if you only colour buff (like this video). Make it flat, before you make it bright. Real polishers know the difference. Good video for colour buffing, note taken.
ОтветитьIf you think the Mother's aluminum polish is good, you should try the Father's aluminum polish hehe😂
ОтветитьFantastic !
ОтветитьThats what i was looking for.thank you
ОтветитьReal nice work. But all that hard work is for nothing when it rains. I’ll leave all that work to the guy who buys off me.
ОтветитьGreat idea, thanks.
ОтветитьNice I never thought of that and I am about to try it on a 1980 cm400a
ОтветитьBriliant, thank you.
ОтветитьThank you !!
ОтветитьGreat idea.
ОтветитьKureaken makes some sweet chrome covers for those bolts.
ОтветитьMan this guy is great. I just found a few of his videos. Well done and a huge help to me. I'm going to be living on this channel.
ОтветитьSuper Cool Dude.. Thanks for the tip
ОтветитьWery nice trick Thanks
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьVery ingenious!
ОтветитьDo you have to do anything to protect the shine afterwards? Looks great!
ОтветитьExcellent idea, thanks for the tip!
ОтветитьMAN!!! What a difference!
Thanks a bunch for the tip. I'm headed out to the garage!...ha ha
Eric in Kissimmee.
