Fix CS2 VAC Verify Error | Full Guide | Updated & Working

what do I do? Nothing seems to work
I have already tried to

Verify game file integrity
Exit Steam and delete all steam releated from task manager and restart
Restart the computer
Clear launch options
Allow CS 2 windows firewall
run steam and cs 2 as an admin
wait a lot of time for it to fix itself?
write a bad review about the game
Reinstall the game
unsubscribe from all community workshop maps

For anyone still having issues if you have enabled run as admin or override high dpi scaling in compatibility file disabled these it worked for me

Am getting a different error... btw... it pops "You cannot play on secured server" after disconnecting me from an ongoing match and then i tried reconnecting the match but it doesnt let me after that....

Didn`t work for me it says "A game file appears to be missing or corrupted. In the steam client go to the game`s properties. In the Local Files tab select Verify Integrity of Game Cache to have steam double-check the game`s installation."

useless programmers cant make just one thing work so we have to "fix" it ourselves

If it wasnt fixed for you with that, you have to change your steam profilename and your steamprofilepicture (avatar). Sounds weird but it fixes the problem

I can't even open cs2 from steam cuz its exiting it and when i open cs2 from files as administator for example I don't have vac on so I can't play ranked games

For me I into properties and general, after that go to launch options and pick cs2

For me it helped to go into cs2 properties while running in the task manager and unchecking run as admin

Just launch cs directly from your steam library and you will never get this error.
