Minor detail that I'm curious about, what does the other guy in the bar in the beginning say when Bond pays for the bottle he leans over and grabs? It sounded French. I assume it was his bar and he said something like "go ahead."

I enjoyed all of the Craig Bond films except the last one which was garbage. The only reason to watch that is for Ana in Cuba. Spectre had one of the worst female leads in the entire series who can't act and had absolutely no chemistry with Craig. To me, she was the only bad part of Spectre.

Would've loved to see a scene where he actually tries to book a hotel, but the process is annoying as all the hotels in the area are fully booked..like a 10 minute scene

One of the more profound, well written and acted scenes of all the 007 films. A defining of both characters. Even the lighting and cinematography was well done.

There's a good explanation for different Bonds. It also explains the Lazenby saying "This never happened to the other fella". It's that "James Bond"... is not the real name of the SIS agent. It's part of his code designation. This will also work for the next Bond movie when he returns. Danny Craigs character died at the end of the last movie...but he returns in the next movie...James Bond isn't dead.. the man that had the code name James Bond 007..is dead.

Nice detail: the news bulletin reported six dead but there were 8 or 9 coffins. A few of the injured didn't make it.

the ending is what i prefer, keep it professional, how i hate these bosses of modern times that want you to call them by their first name and pretend we are all friends....

With Craig, Bond as a character became less childish in its depth, less boyish in his demeanour and less dull overall. He bears his burden and it shows... he does nothing to conceal it.
