Fantastic Idea, i was hesitant to buy a monopod exactly because it would obstruct me sometimes.

I was carrying a Manfrotto lens support Model 293 fitted on to monopod a couple of weeks back to support my telephoto lens. It was very tiring and cumbersome to carry for long. Then Amazon delivered your book PSNP and came cross your beanbag head. I thought it was a standard product until I saw this video. Thank you very much for this.

I used an old PVC zippered pouch. Ripped and cut a phone tripod adaptor to get a ready-made 3/8 inch "nut" with a base plate. Stuck it onto the pouch with hot glue. Opened a neck pillow filled with micro foam balls a little. That was a nightmare to handle the light and tiny foam balls. Filled a zipper bag with these and pushed the bag into the pouch. Zipped the pouch up and sealed it with super glue so the micro balls do not float around. Voila!! I too have a very light weight monopod head.

Chose the foam balls over grains to lighten the contraption. It could easily be 150-200gm heavier with grains.
