Hello, we have read many of your comments and realized errors in the content. Especially in the tip about combining vinegar and baking soda. We will improve in the following videos, thank you for your comments!
ОтветитьI am a retired Pipefitter / Fire Sprinkler Fitter Union.
When you use Teflon Tape, you only need to wrap the first 3-4 threads a few wraps to hold the tape in place.
Its a complete waist of tape, time, and money. Any tape you can see does nothing.
Keep in mind these threads are. TAPERED *. pipe and fittings. The best thread will be one that will using a new fitting and a new thread pipe.
By hand screw the fitting on the pipe as soon as the fitting catches the thread.... The fitting should turn by hand 2-2 1/2 turns before it stops (where you have to use a wrench). FYI ELECTRIC CONDUIT THREADS are "STRAIGHT" threads they ARE all the same geometric shape all the same dimension.
TAPERED are changing start to finish.
Now the bad news. Are you going to go to the hardware store and find pipe and fittings with 2-2 1/2 hand tight start.
Not on your life, when you thread your own pipe shoot for the above.
Good luck.
THANK SO MUCH
ОтветитьWhen putting pipe tape on pipe you need to do 4 wraps by code..... not sure what it would be in your local county.
ОтветитьAs a heating n a/c mechanic I often must deal w/ WATER ..... lol, there's a bit of scuttlebutt between these tradesmen but I must
tell you that Plumbers are the gods of water/pipes and solutions for one of the toughest things to deal with. I've seen folks berate
men of this trade & heard guys within my trade try to bash them as less than another in intelligence = WRONG! The innovations of
plumbers is astounding & some of the wittiest I've seen are in Asia whereas they do some real tricks w/ plastic bottles.
My hats off to them ALL..... peace & GB ALL
Did anyone notice that at 1347 there's a piece of dynamite thrown into a tube and then plugged with a carrot and then nothing happens what happened to the dynamite
ОтветитьThe green check mark means that if you do it the wrong way it is correct.
Ответитьsure, some were goot tips. But there were quite a few 5 minute crafts level BS. vinegar and soda was the worst. But there were others to.... (using a bending tool to bend pipes...? no shit sherlock
ОтветитьWhy was this person putting teflon tape on the compression fittings? Perfect example of people that don't know what they are doing sharing their lack of knowledge with others that don't know what they are doing!
ОтветитьCompression fittings should not get tape or any kind of sealent
Ответитьit is amazing video thank you for share to view i like it and i wish your channel more success
Ответитьcould have lived without the gay bar music
ОтветитьThis video is proof you are living in a 3rd world country.
ОтветитьDo not heat pvc without immaculate ventilation.
ОтветитьA 29 minute video with literally zero actual useful tips, hilarious hacky plumbing though, very amusing
Ответитьжалко таких людей, которые в жизни не видели хомуты и разводной ключ.
ОтветитьMoney sucker, how many adverts [cachcows] were in this video? = 😡
ОтветитьMost plumbing videos like this are ridiculous but there are a couple of tricks in here that I actually might use. The pex pipe used to remove a sharkbite fitting. That looks like it would actually work and those small plastic ones are always getting lost. Lifting the toilet with the clamp & using a pencil for the plumbers tape in hard to reach places.
ОтветитьLets just cancel the vinager by dumping in baking soda. Great hack! Doesnt work, but great hack. And by hack i mean:
/hak/
noun
noun: hack; plural noun: hacks
1.
a writer or journalist producing dull, unoriginal or shitty work.
twisted wire wrapped tightly around a hose IS a clamp!!!! instead of a balloon trick to keep cockroaches from going down the drain I think I would try to get rid of the cockroaches!!!!!!
ОтветитьDo not use heat on PVC.
ОтветитьClick bait. Thumbnail had no relevance to video content.
ОтветитьWTF soda? Why?!? Are people so dumb? There goes hand down.
ОтветитьSick of the word “hack”
ОтветитьThe wooden plug fix is genius!!!
ОтветитьNeed more explanation on whats even going on at times
Ответитьyou got bigger problems if you got Roaches
ОтветитьCompression fittings should not get tape or any kind of sealent
Ответитьif you don't have a tool to remove tub drain you can take a piece of iron pipe 6 inches or so that fits in the drain and cut notches for cross bars on end of pipe with a grinder and cutoff wheel or hacksaw, then stick it in drain and turn it out with pipe wrench on the top of the tool you just made.
ОтветитьЧё за хуйня с морковкой?
ОтветитьСода растворяет жир , накипь - это мел , раствряет только уксус. Похоже в школе , бамбук курил !!!.
ОтветитьFirst of all, I've never used an abrasive wheel, yet alone a grinder for cutting SCH 40, Second, wtf is with the carrot😂 thirdly, 90% of this doesn't meet even the IPC, yet alone any state code
Ответитьbunch of idiots, don't follow most of these if you care about your property or family.
ОтветитьYou’re obviously watching videos and making up a description what an idiot
ОтветитьThis video sucks you are spreading bad information and clearly know nothing about plumbing. Stop stealing content and relabeling it as your own
ОтветитьYears ago I tried all kinds of rust removers on old farm implements.
The most effective one I used was Coca-Cola.
One inch what?
ОтветитьWhat a joke
Ответитьdon't use shark bite fittings unless last resort, you can get a crimper, cutter and bag of 100 crimps for like 50 bucks, shark bites are prone to failure after a while and have a weaker connection overall plus cost a lot, they are however good for temporary repairs if you have to wait for real parts
ОтветитьMany comments are not related to the issue addresed, clearly the commentator have no plumbing background.
Ответитьplease make lots more videos like this young people of today need them ...
ОтветитьI’m a plumber most of the shit is bullshit doesn’t work or ruin what you’re trying to do it’s better to just buy tools that are designed to do what they’re designed to do rather than trying to make weird makeshift stuff out of garbage
ОтветитьWhy are you trying to keep cockroaches alive?
ОтветитьNot actually up to any codes on most of the repairs. Apartment maintenance man stuff.
ОтветитьWow...If you need or rely on any part of this video /your already in trouble, if you,ve hired a "professional " and they use a carrot forcibly remove them from your premises
ОтветитьAs a plumber these are some of the worst tips and hacks I have ever seen in my life.
Why not just teach people to do things the correct way?
Also there is plumbing being shown from all over the world what is acceptable in one country is not in another. Here is the U.S. the codes vary not just state to state but town to town even!
Get a plumber if you have an issue, water will end up costing more in less time than a fire.
Dislike cause the picture of the video is not in the video...
ОтветитьA WRENCH...on a tub drain?? Good way to break them! Also, raw fiberglass insulation on a heat tape?
