Is it worth paying more for the AMG Line Premium over the standard AMG Line? The main difference is the digital drivers display being 10” rather than 7”

Drove the A200 with the 1.3 liter engine. I was not really impressed and for the money it is a bit expensive just to get a Mercedes

Have one now as a hire car. I can say I do like it, drive is nice and its quiet. But I prefer my subaru wrx sti 2019 spec r any day.
I have put coilovers on, so my handling is far superior. But even the interior of the subaru is way better hands down. The Recaro seats are also much better and drive side is electric unlike the merc.

The wife is getting this and she cant decide between the shooting brake amg line premium or cla250e amg line premium night edition

This car is not practical at all for a sedan

That 1.3L turbo engine is an A200 which uses the M282 RENAULT co-developed engine ahahah. I own a A180d so yes it's a beautiful Renault and I love mine.

Very realistic review, i would agree on almost everything. The fake exhaust on one side is totally pathetic. It might be a detail for many, but really on cold mornings you must feel like a tuned hunday accent.

I previously bought a CLA 200 AMG line purpoted to be a demo. After some time it reported some faulty things as I was driving though I really loved it and enjoyed driving it. When I took it to its sister branch they told me it had an accident so they can't touch it. Before I phoned the East London branch where I bought it, I took it to the traffic department to get a printout about its history. To my surprise I was told it had 2 previous owners. I was so taken aback. I lodged a case with MBSA and consumer protection unit but they were all playing games until the case was referred back to MBSA for their final response. I was so disappointed to be told that Ronnie's motors in East London said there is no difference between a demo and a pre-owened car. Why these different names? It is good to learn that you can be robbed by a giant company instead of apologizing for robbing you. Who am I to hire lawyers for such a giant company? I had already returned the car to them but I lost the case as even the consumer protection unit could not solve this problem. It does not help to have such a unit that fails its own consumers. They have connections to cheat the consumers. What a bad ending
. I will never forget this. This is how they get rich and we remain poor.

People shouldn't fall for pressure about the matte ''scratchy as well'' feel! It is awesome.

Almost 2 weeks of having the 180 and am v pleased with it. It does not feel like an entry level car. Sitting inside, it feels like a proper merc.

From some angles it has coupe looks. Like a baby cls.

It's not sports car fast but it has that effortless relaxing feel. You could easily do a lot of miles in this without feeling exhausted.

A few things though:

You have to pay to get Internet. I cannot find a way to tether to my phone's data. Need Internet if you want to use your amazon music account.

Android auto doesn't fill the screen. Comes out at 8 inch so looks a bit bodge job.

If you want to browse your radio presets or move backwards or forwards on your own music, it's a bit of a pain. Left / right buttons would have been better.

You can have sat nav between both dials or as a dial. If only you could go full screen though.

Fixed head rest positions - as a driver I find it fine. Doesn't bother me. The driver seat is a comfortable place to be. However sitting in the passenger seat today, I found the fixed head rest irritating. It felt like I was being poked in the back of my neck.

can anyone recommend any bicycle racks for carrying on the back as am not keen on mounting to the too. thanks.

I love the design, love the interior, and freaking LOVE the ambient lighting ... the moment I found out the 1.3L engine is actually Renault engine I said hell no... I mean could you imagine paying a premium price for a sport car that has the same engine as a DACIA duster? wait what ? I don't know why Matt failed to mention this, but this is pretty damn important in IMO

£31k for a new one 2 years ago. Now £36k for a used 2 year old one ! Ouch :-(
