Great info, thanks! The mic for "tons of money" btw seems to be a rode NT2 or so, I own one anyway. I do not remember how much it was, but if I(!) could afford it, it coudn't have been much LOL And ist's quite decent, I must say. Since it's this decent though, it captures much room and some reflections of course. Since I got an overvoicing job the other day, I want to avoid setting up a booth for these rare occasions, I will try this AI cleanup instead.
So thanks in advance for reducing my workload. I use Adobe CC, maybe there is even a local GUI or so. Will see.

This tool is really cool, but I already knew about it and was looking for an AI that can actually upscale music audio quality, so the title is a little misleading

I think there are a lot of roboty sounding artifacts, sounds like pitch bends and autotune. It also sounds like they mix some pre-recorded layers with the original audio. I don't think they_re service is impressive atm.

Idk if this is similar or not but in my case I downloaded a movie off Internet Archive, the problem is that the audio quality is very low and I can only hear it at a normal level if I crank the volume all the way to the max. By "normal level" I mean that i can hear it as if it's withtin the recommended 3/4 of volume to avoid hearing damage. Idk if it's my hearing going out or if the sound quality is low because there's not enough hertz to create crisp quality audio. If anyone knows how to fix this pls let me know 😅😅😅

I tried it, took me 8 times to upload again then it said: Your 3 hours are used up and not possible to upload and enhance. This is not working for me. The audio's were not to long and also below 500MB as stated. It took me also 5 trials to upload 5 minutes audio. The speakers audio was misformed.

This is not for everyone. I tested it and it sounds way worse and it has random pitch changes across the board.

I gave this a try on some audio that wasn't really all that bad, just wasn't up to my usual standards. The result was amazing...ly bad. The "enhanced" audio sounded like I was listening to it over a cellular connection with a signal level of one bar. It was super over-compressed and it kept cutting out. (shrug). I'll play with the equalizer settings on the original audio in Final Cut Pro and see if that helps. 😊

Look at Adobe's terms of use. Specifically look at section 4.2.
They get full license to everything you upload, they can do whatever they want with your content.
Most "free" services are not actually free.

I tried it today and unfortunately the enhanced version didn't sound like me at all, it changed my voice at a level that it sounded like another person, couldn't use it. I guess it is not suitable for everyone but I still glad this option exist and working for others. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for this advice! I tried it out with a really bad recording I made about 40 years ago, and it came out crystal clear and without the noise. Unfortunately the words are unintelligible. The recording was made in Afrikaans, but the result sounds like some Scandinavian language. Still, I am impressed.
