I have one big long vertical cell that wraps. How to I add more cells into the cell to the right of it, so that I don't have a Giant empty space?
ОтветитьBut you didn't split the celll
ОтветитьThat's text to columns, it doesnt actually split the cell...
ОтветитьWrong caption
ОтветитьNO
Ответитьyou didnt split a column!
ОтветитьProbably you typed wrong title for your video, you didn't split a cell!
Ответитьyou haven't split the sell lol how do you make one cell become two cells
Ответитьat no point you split a sell in this video..... does anyone know how to actually do it?
ОтветитьHere's how I found how to do it. Depending on the size of your document, might be a bit of a task.
A2 has data, and in A1 you want to have two cells without affecting A2.
Insert a column before A, so this is the new A, and the previous A is now B.
Select A2 and B2, click "Merge & Center," and then align as you choose.
This new cell is now wider, so you will need to adjust the width of column B accordingly.
Works same for rows.
Not ideal, but it works. Hope it helps.
how is this in googles results when this gives anything but results. this merely results to 4 times more thumbs down an im joining the club
ОтветитьThis is horrible. you didnt split the cell
ОтветитьIt's not possible in Excel at current approach. Because by splitting vertically, lets say A1, you need to add additional cells to it. Which can only be like a1, aa1, aaa1. Or if splitting horizontally, it could be a11, a111, a111. Or simmilar. I wish they go that way, it would be so helpful.
Ответитьwrong. Title ≠ Video. Besides, it's not possible to split a non-merged cell into two cells.
ОтветитьGo Fuck your self mate, did not show how to split a cell
Ответитьahaha
that's so fucked up :)))
I've been trying to do this since awhile now and no tutorial shows this..
Thanks for the great (and brief) video. Just what I needed!
Ответитьuseless
ОтветитьWhy you sound like sexsirexsi
ОтветитьWTF! Nothing about splitting cells!
ОтветитьWrong procedure for "split a cell". You split the content of a cell. Big difference.
ОтветитьGarbage
ОтветитьThis is exactly what I wanted lol. what the fuck was everyone else trying to do?
ОтветитьAWFUL!
ОтветитьClear as mud
ОтветитьYou knew what we wanted...
ОтветитьTotally ineffective VDO!
ОтветитьYou didn't split the cell, you split existing data between existing cells using the spaces.
ОтветитьPlease, please, please create a tutorial on how to actually split a single cell WITHOUT putting data into 2 columns.
Ответитьperfect! exactly what I needed and well explained
ОтветитьHi, thank you for the video and the fast way you explain things. I need to split an empty cell into two (it has not been merged and I don't want to shift any of the surrounding cells anywhere). How would I be able to do this? Thank you for your time.
ОтветитьThis is more like splitting words and distributing to the number of cells but it is not splitting a cell.
ОтветитьYOU DID NOT SPLIT ONE CELL. this is annoying click bait
ОтветитьYou splitted cells content between cells not the cell itself so please improve!
ОтветитьGo slow. Every step should be explained as if you are teaching a novice. As a teacher don't assume the other person knows a lot. Your instructions are too fast for somebody who is learning how to do the splitting.
