ОтветитьWINDOWS ARE CALLED RECTANGLES?! LOLOL
ОтветитьI would never get rectangle i am happy that i don’t have that feature anymore I hated it. I always got angry when i wanted to move a window to a corner and it got big I REALLY HATED IT
Ответитьafter 4 years switching to mac. i'm now back to windows.
ОтветитьYou can open other applications in fullscreen mode with virtual desktop. gotta go into the other virtual desktop open the app and then drag it into the fullscreen mode and you'll get a split screen.
ОтветитьUnpopular opinion: Windows is a better operating system than Mac OS ... ❤🎉😊
ОтветитьEverything in mac os is carefully designed to be as frustrating as possible. What a disaster lmao and mac users keep pretending like this is better than windows?
Ответитьi'm a linux user and i already know how to use mac os
Ответитьladies and mentalgen!

ОтветитьI don't use MacOS, neither Windows, but I found this video very interesting and helpful! Nice explanation :D
ОтветитьIts so much headache to learn a new operating system
ОтветитьThe slamming windows on the corner is real 😂😭
ОтветитьDon't forget about karabiner with the windows style pc shortcuts! it lets you use windows style control while you slowly transition to using CMD
Ответитьafter using macos for 2 weeks i've realized it's way more easier to use than windows, nothing special on this video.
ОтветитьOk,now i just have to save my money to buy a mac
ОтветитьI've been working from my MacBook using an iPad with sidecar. It's crazy functionality and I love it, but a little clunky if I wanna work on the couch. The three finger virtual desktop is a godsend for people who are used to multiple monitors.
ОтветитьVery nice tutorial. I learned a few new things that I'll have to try. Instead of cmd + m to minimize, you can use cmd + h to hide an application. Then when you cmd + tab to the app, all your windows of that application show up. If you hold the option key when you hover over the red/yellow/green buttons, you get alternate display options. You can make your app window fill the screen without it creating a whole separate desktop. I always put my Applications, Documents, and Downloads folders on the dock. I find them useful there. In the dock you can right-click on them to choose how you want them to display (I choose display as folder), and you can choose how you want to view their contents (I find "grid" and "list" more useful than "fan").
ОтветитьHow do I access virtual desktops without a trackpad? I have a Mac mini w/ regular keyboard and mouse
ОтветитьWhy would you use Chrome switch to Firefox instead, so much better. Thank you for the tips though ☺️
Ответитьi expected this to be a multi million view video how is it this low
ОтветитьAs a Windows user that has a few Mac thank you very much good sir. 🤌👍🤙
Ответить"with any app command comma works. if I do it in photoshop.... nothing happens, cuz it's photoshop"
ОтветитьMacOS makes no sense to me
ОтветитьThere's 3 ways to install apps on mac. We also have install wizards on larger apps. Like fl and waves and other stuff has actual install process similar to Windows
Ответитьthe way of your explanation something really awesome, thank man you helped me so much i like it!
Ответитьno Fortnite

Ответить>666 like
Haha.
Typing from my new 13" MBP with the M3 Pro chip.
Miss the keyboard on my Lenovo Thinkpad though. Mac keyboard has this annoying plastic springy sound to it.
My thoughts after watching the entire video:
using Mac as non power user (not using shortcuts ) is actually harder and less intuitive than Linux not to mention Windows.
While Windows suffers from lack of customization and power user friendliness, Mac OS actually comes a lot closer than I thought to Linux in that regard.
Sadly both Mac and Linux don't natively run as much apps as Windows (Linux can't run Office and some games, while Mac Os doesn't run most), of course it's not their fault, as Windows has more than 90% market share.
Some addition to the video
1. Mos for fixing the natural scrolling (i can see that you already have it installed
2. Monitor control for handling brightness on external monitor
3. I don't like the screenshots on desktop. So i have modified the screenshots folder to a different folder.
MacOS is terrible for Windows management. It's basically a OS designed to work best on a laptop with trackpad. You get into trouble once you deviate from that into using a mouse with a large monitor and even worse is multiple monitors.
Typically the response from the Apple cult is you are using it wrong and you need to go back to Windows or Linux. The response from the reasonable Apple users will tell admit your issues are very legit and offer some help as in using third party apps to fix these issues when available(such as Moom to fix Windows snapping/Forklife to fix the terrible Finder, Betterdisplay to try and fix MacOS terrible monitor support). Even with all of these apps you are still dealing with a OS that simply is not designed to work well outside of the laptop with trackpad. But remember Macbooks are where Apple makes by far most of their money for their computer sales. Mac Studio/Mac Mini/Mac Pro are a fraction of their laptop sales.
thanks for all this useful information . i an see how hard it would be for you to make this video and editing
