Love your videos. I am relocating from south Florida to San Manuel to take care of me mom. I intend on buying a place eventually but I’m leaning to an area like bisbee or Greer due to the relatively cold winters,again ,thank you so much for your work which has given me a great education on Arizona ! I love Arizona, and Bisbee is a fun town to visit, I absolutely recommend that and also since Tombstone is on the way. However, Havasu City and Parker are awful. Greer sounds amazing as does Portal. I'm adding those on my 'to visit' list.

Parker from what I have seen online is that it really has changed a lot, as when I was there from 1996 to 1998, there was talk about it, but nothing got done due to that there as there are three governments there, in the Parker Town Council, La Paz County Government, and CRIT (Colorado River Indian Tribes) didn’t always get along with each other, but I suppose over time some certain people there in those governments could have been voted out by voters under each government and ones put in their place really wanted to make improvements there.
There is a new Wal-Mart that went in the year 2009 and hopefully the Blue Water Casino Resort there must have gotten better entertainment coming there and the movie theater must have been improved a lot there with more theaters there and hopefully better sound quality too.
Like I said before I would just get a vacation home in Parker if I happen to win money from the Lottery in California or the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes. I used to live across the River from Parker in Big River, California and most do come over there for their shopping, banking, getting their vehicles gassed up, eating out at the restaurants, drinking at the bars, and enjoying fun and entertainment at the Blue Water Casino Resort.

Nothing can be better then finding a small qaint and quiet town where everybody is friendly, there's no crime or black people

$$$$ everyone ofthose places,so unless you make 7 figures a year forget it

I am surprized that you missed "Green Valley"; you were in Tubac, you must have passed by. It is 55 + town and many nice places for retirees.

Good towns, but you mention Carefree. It is a beautiful little town north of Phoenix but the cost of living is high, not for the average retiree or common working family. Cave Creek is also in that category. That is where many celebrities, active and retired, live.

I'm from Pennsylvania and the places you show up in the Mountains are much like the Poconos in Northeastern Pa.!

I have lived in Show Low for six years. Lovely town, lovely forest, and moderate four seasons. However, due to health issues I have to move so I’m selling my lovely home. I’ll miss it!

Portal is a World Class birding destination. It one of the best birding locations in the US.

One thing you don't mention about small towns is how far you have to travel to buy your groceries, go to the dentist, go and see a doctor, and the price of gas to do all those things plus to get lumber to repair shops for home repair, what about car repair

I love Arizona ever since I lived there in the '70s. If not for the too conservative political climate, I'd go retire there. I refuse to even visit.

I have lived in the White Mountains my whole life. When I do my shopping I travel half an hour into Show Low. I love all the shots taken. It was awesome seeing my home like that.

Go to Tombstone, Hereford, and Bisbee! We love our tourists!❤

The San Xavier Mission is almost 40 miles north of Tubac; Tumacacori only abour 4 miles south, so I certainly wouldn't group them all together.

As a Canadian snowbird I made the pilgrimage to Arizona 5 years ago and I loved it!
I'm going back as soon as I can and if I can stay there for the whole winter? I will!.

I'm so frustrated! You are moving way too fast and in goofy directions! I'm trying to follow you on the map, but it's impossible! "A little ways" should not be all the way across the state! You need some kind of order here. I've been to Arizona many times but you're choosing tiny towns most of us have not been to. Even Google Maps can't keep up. Good job with Carefree... I was feeling like some good AZ small towns were being overlooked because they might not be so "hidden". Carefree is one of those AZ small towns that really isn't all that hidden. Camp Verde is another one...

Retiring out that way soon. So exciting to see all the places I could visit.
