Ответитьhello. can you answer me this question? If I photograph families and I use the face detector with the Sony A6000, would it be better to configure the multi or center metering? I am working with focus on area. I need the photos to come out as uniform as possible. thank you
ОтветитьWhat settings when I see a green box and I can half press to focus on the object before I take the photo?
ОтветитьI needed this for focus stacking.
ОтветитьI don't know if you are still monitoring this video, but just in case...I was over at a friend's to teach her some photography with her a6000. I shoot with an Olympus, and the equivalent to your "flexible focus" is super fast and easy to adjust. I just hit one of the four arrows that surround the dial in the back, the focus box appears, and with those arrows I move it where I want. Even shooting in auto mode (iso, aperture, shutter speed) I'll often choose my own focus point.
With her Sony a6000, it seemed like you had to go to that menu setting after every single shot to choose flexible focus on order to move the focus point. Is there any way to change the settings so it's more like my Olympus, a one button thing? Google, and even this video, suggest not, which if that's true I don't think I'd ever purchase a Sony.... But I've heard such great things! So hoping you can help me out.
What's the best focus area to shoot sport? (futsal)
ОтветитьI’m a newbie with the A6000 and I was taking some amazing photos of a friend in a well light room yet the images weren’t fully in focus. I’m realizing aside from the focus modes I can’t change the focus area. It’s giving me an error message that says “this operation or setting not available as follows” “shoot mode/superior mode”. I’ve changed the setting from how j shoot (superior auto or Intelligent auto) and the same basic thing comes up. Help!
ОтветитьHi, thanks for the video you create. What about foreground blur, could you show us the settings please? Thank you
ОтветитьKyle can u make a video about how to focus while filming? I'm struggling to do follow on shots
ОтветитьHi, Good video. But I have a question. Is there a way to customize a button to bring the focus area already selected? For example, I already selected a Flexible spot, but I want to move the focus to another corner. Can I do that without going back to the focus area? Canon has a button to activate the focus area already selected and Fujifilm has the joystick. you touch it and can move the focus around. I can not do that on Sony... Can I? Thanks.
ОтветитьI love how you explain things, so easy to understand.... you are my go-to channel for camera info, thank you!!!!
ОтветитьTHANK YOU! This has been driving me crazy.
ОтветитьWide is not for landscapes 🤦
ОтветитьDo you have a video on metering modes
Ответитьyou look like tandarans from enterprise
ОтветитьAwesome! Thanks 🙂 👍🏽
ОтветитьHelpful video, but I find the background music too loud - it is distracting to me.
ОтветитьI think these focus areas kind of useless with sony a6400 that has touch screen focus.. you can touch anywhere on the screen to focus instantly without going to change the focus area to this or to that !
ОтветитьCan you just make a tutorial on focus mode available in song a6000??...........
Ответитьgood one
Ответитьwhat did you use for this video ??
ОтветитьSo I love taking pictures of the fall colors and trees. I want everything in the picture to be clear and focused on. What focus setting should I do? Like auto focus continues focus and so on.
ОтветитьYou r genuinely the most helpful person when it comes to A6000 thanks mate
ОтветитьHi. How do you use the flexible spot in video mode? Or is simply not able to do it? Thanks.
ОтветитьI have a6100 in continuos AF its showing spot focus and not focusinf any objects
ОтветитьIs wide fine for just one person portraits? New to the sonya6000
ОтветитьGood video. On the a6300, once the flexible focus point is set and a shot is taken, how can the point be quickly moved? Is that a custom button wheel setting?
Ответитьlearning how to use my a6400 by watching Kyle's a6000 videos - might not translate 100%, but I'm sure there's a lot of overlap and it will help. Kyle if I'm wrong, please correct me!!
ОтветитьWhenever i try to pull focus for photography. It always zooms in the middle, can i turn that off or like get rid of it? Help plssssssss
ОтветитьDude, I got my A6000 a few months ago, after drooling over it for years. Finally I have the gear I've been wanting! I'm a mom of twin 5 yr olds, a wife and trying to pursue photography as a career. Your videos are extremely informative and easy to follow. Thank you so much for your work!
ОтветитьI watched this video when I first got my α6000 and had no idea what you were talking about. Watched it again and got a lot of info. One note - if you ever do a remake you might want include how to access the FOCUS AREA function by using the Fn button and the fact that you cannot alter the FOCUS AREA in the AUTO modes.
ОтветитьManual focus is probably the only reason why I'd like a touchscreen - it's really a bit slow pressing all those buttons in order to focus on something that's not in the centre
ОтветитьMate, you're killing it with your vids.
I'm not sure if its up your ally or not but street photography on the fly with the Sony 50mm 1.8
Especially things like it being wide open and shooting a particular person, animal or object when you have limited time to take the shot.
AFF and AFC means what and how do you get to those settings? The a6000 has so many settings It's a complicated camera.
ОтветитьCouldn't ask for more information at my newbie level. You've made learning an enjoyable experience for me - thanks man.
ОтветитьHi Kyle! Could you do a tutorial on front/rear shutter on/off and how you could do light painting with it?
ОтветитьThanks for the video and for the explanation, I was searching exactly for this kind of tutorial! Thanks! :-)
ОтветитьThank you for making videos that aren’t boring and easy to understand!
ОтветитьThis video was exactly what i needed! - Thank you!!
ОтветитьLove these tutorials especially as I’m new to photography. Thank You
ОтветитьWhich Mode Your Using At This Video Or To The Most Videos Pleas Answere
ОтветитьWhy my Aperture is limited to 3.5 , Why cant I go to 1.8 ?
ОтветитьUmm...you dont have to have to shoot the subject in the center when using center Focus mode. You lock on and then can recompose the subject wherever you want! It maintains focus! I use center exclusively.
ОтветитьThanks so much Kyle. Normally I get so bored watching tutorials but you keep things easy to follow. I'm currently taking an evening class in photography and these videos are a great support through them. Especially as I'm the only a6000 lady in a room full of Canon and Nikon DSLRs!! I definitely agree that the tab menu on this camera is pretty fussy to get my head around so it's been a blessing to get it explained! Thanks
ОтветитьFood shot tutorial! Haha
ОтветитьJust want to add something about the center focus. You can also use it to point your camera at something you want to focus on, hold your focus, and then compose the shot. So it is not just for focussing on objects in the center. This works for me better most of the time then using selective focus
Ответитьtnx..
ОтветитьDo u do giveaway lens 😅
ОтветитьGreat simple explanation about these modes, it's what i thought they were but confirms my thoughts! Keep it up! :)
ОтветитьFocus mode?
