The Outstanding Wirral Council Case Study Film for Smartcomm

The stunning, energy-efficient Wirral Council offices were part of the first phase of the Birkenhead town centre regeneration. The vision is to create a real change in Birkenhead town and in the quality of services offered to the community. As well as delivering the technical excellence to help staff deliver vital community services, when fully let these buildings will bring new footfall and passing trade to local shops.

Smartcomm were brought in to deliver the AV in the reception, interview room, main conference room, meeting rooms and training rooms.

The light and airy Reception area welcomes visitors with a 65” Hisense Display and a countertop Ampetronic Induction loop.

The Main Conference room has mobile options so it can be used flexibly in a number of different formats. A 136” Hisense AIO graces one wall, with two further 86” Yealink Collaboration Boards on 4 wheel mobile carts for maximum impact. Four in-ceiling Shure microphones, a Sony presenter ceiling microphone, a Catchbox microphone par and an Ampetronic induction loop combine with seven Yealink 4K PTZ Tracking Cameras to ensure perfect audio clarity for everyone in the room. The Yealink UC Conferencing solution with two PTZ cameras and AV Hub ensures the virtual
audience is also well catered for.

In total 28 Yealink room booking panels and room sensors ensure meeting rooms are used optimally for an intelligent and energy-efficient workspace.
The 12, 14 and 20 person meeting rooms all feature 75” Hisense UHD Displays, QSC in-ceiling speakers, Shure in-ceiling microphones and the Yealink UC Conferencing solution.
