I try 1m time all settings except " Network Reset " and than in single click work like a charm .... Thanks !
ОтветитьNone of this should be required after a clean install of Win 10 and enabling network discovery by default. Microsoft obviously had changed network sharing settings/configuartions without telling the public and now they can't see toher computers without typing in \\computername.
ОтветитьNever works. I am so sick of Windows. I never had this problem with xp and 7
ОтветитьBeautiful explanation. My "FIX" was Network Reset. Thank you!
ОтветитьNICE TY MAN
ОтветитьMicrosoft does not want you to share anything in "secret", that's the reason why they took away local lan function, they want to use the cloud so they can have access to anything you share
Ответитьhaha is Visioracer into PCs now? XDXXD
ОтветитьGreat instructions. The "Network Reset" worked for me. Thank you very much for posting this instructional video
ОтветитьAdd SMB 1.0. This solute problem Windows 10 not see Windows 7 PC in local network.
ОтветитьIn System Properties... Network ID is greyed out.
ОтветитьWINDOWS FUCKING TOOK AWAY WORKGROUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьAlso in Windows, answering to pings is disabled by deafult so if you cant ping a computer you need to change firewall settings in the computer you are sending pings to
ОтветитьYIKES!!! I was about to give up on any chance of networking my computers. I am advance engineer, and couldnt figure it out. I think the WORKGROIUP tip is what did it. THANK YOU!
Another tip...I set up my network with my NORDvpn ON...then Nordvpn had to be on to display the network. Turn off the VPN and then networks disappeared.
Thank you for this video. I still have issue and question.
I have 2 Laptops, 1.Win10Pro and 2.Win10Home. From 2.Win10Home I can see and access data of 1.Win10Pro. BUT from 1.Win10Pro I see in network laptop 2.Win10Home but after clicking on icon of computer I see error - windows cannot access (diagnose or cancel) Any suggestions? That 2.Win10Home laptop - I see Network ID in grey.
ON which of these two computers I should try to reset network in this case?
Thank you, when I turning on SMB I can see my network. Great :)
Ответитьnetsh advfirewall firewall set rule group="Network Discovery" new enable=yes
ОтветитьVery good video indeed. I do have a rather unique issue. On my network I have one windows 10 laptop and an Nvidia shield TV android box as well as a 4 TB hard drive connected to my ASUS router. I notice whenever my laptop is booted up before the Nvidia shield TV box I can see the box and the 4TB hard drive as computers in Network Neighborhood. However if the Nvidia shield TV box is booted before the laptop then I don't see the Nvidia shield TV box and the 4TB hard drive in Network Neighborhood. The 4TB hard drive is always on because it is connected to the router which is always on as well. Have you ever heard or seen such an issue? thanks for your reply.
ОтветитьAmazing!.. Thanks!!!
Ответитьhit "Comment" button by mistake & it was posted. there has been more updates. I was seeing my other two desktops and my "READYSHARE" disk that is connected to the router. After the update, on this computer & the desktops, I cannot see the Network. Will try the ideas in the video. Hope they work.
ОтветитьIs there anyway that you can do an update to this video?? I have Version 10.019041 build 19041 on this laptop
ОтветитьThank Sir...
ОтветитьI could litterally kiss you, I mean I worked for over 6 hours I could not find a solution
ОтветитьFast, concise, accurate help. Awesome. Thanks.
ОтветитьThanks sir!
ОтветитьExcellent. Fixed my 'no computers on lan' problem. How about a follow-up on how to find missing printer on the lan? It was there okay until MS upgraded me to win10 2004 in their usual helpful fashion. Now it's gone. Can anyone help? Some missing services again? Which?
ОтветитьThis is great. Fixed my problem with win10 2004. Services/func disc res pub set to auto, reboot, finds everything.
And I love it when he tells us what they're doing - they don't want us using our own earthbound resources - they want us in the habit of using the cloud, their cloud, so that all our stuff gets uploaded.
And instead of being upfront about it and friendly, they adopt these sneaky tactics...
Which speaks volumes, of itself.
Not good is it...
I went through all the processes indicated other videos, including recovering windows. This after checking all other processes, network discovery, etc. The netsh command that set a rule allowing network discovery past the firewall did the trick. Interesting that only my Dell Inspiron required this. Thanks so much!
ОтветитьVery concise video, thanks for this. Although it helped show one PC on the network, and not the other. I havent had a SINGLE problem like this on linux
ОтветитьMuch thanks for the GREAT details. Finally I was able to resolve the issue of not seeing all my computers on my home network.
ОтветитьEnabling SMB did the trick for me. Thks!
ОтветитьIt works for me. Very helpful and give you thumbs up. Thanks again.
Ответитьcan you help with windows 10 2004 build ?
ОтветитьLeave it to MS to make things much more difficult than necessary... This worked after going to the windows components step. My questions are: Why not a utility to automatically set this up? And according to MS the SMB v1.0 is an insecure obsolete protocol, so why then is there not a more secure way to do this?
ОтветитьCan anyone help me on this still not connecting I can see only in one direction! done this video process to no luck and other videos too! :-( peer to peer no issues but through the router issues
ОтветитьGood video on some possible fixes. Microsoft had to TRY to break all local networking! Nobody could create such a fuc&ery by accident. What a turd of a company!
ОтветитьThis worked for me, but I didn't have to do the network reset. I left that as a last resort
ОтветитьVery helpfull Thanks
ОтветитьThanks for this video. It was turning on SMB that fixed my issue. Good job, you troubleshoot quite logically and are thorough.
ОтветитьResetting the network worked for me, thanks!
