Great video. This process lost me with the single 1 mb file though. The training data for our needs includes SOPs, Policies and Procedures that are almost a gig.

Amazing tutorial. I currently have the free version of Zapier so there were quite a few things in this video I could not do, such as:
cannot Authenticate to OpenAI
cannot use ChatGPT 4.0
cannot change the theme, navigation, branding, and tracking
cannot add a Datasource
Just letting people who have the free version what they won't be able to do. That being said, this video was cool enough to get me to upgrade my Zapier plan so that I can do it all. Thanks!!

API Assistants are the same as ChatGPTs GPTs, with less capabilities for now. You can create a GPT in the ChatGPT interface then use its settings to set the API Assistant

CAUTION! FYI there is a failure of direct retrieval with GPT-4 using the new OpenAI Assistant API. GPT tokenizes text and creates its own vector embeddings based on its specific training data. The new terms and sequences may not connect well to the pretrained knowledge in GPT's weight tensors.
There was no semantic similarity between the new API terms and GPT's existing vector space. This is a fundamental issue with retrieval augmentation systems like Rag - external knowledge is not truly integrated into the model's learned weights. Adding more vector stores cannot solve this core problem.

Would love it to go over the assistant ai for a more in depth use case where our product catalogs are much larger and we query them. Also how to update the underlying data as well.

Seems like a pretty basic chatbot that would require a lot of maintenance for, say, an e-commerce site where the site content can change often. For a static website this may be OK.

Bait and switch. it's not custom GPTs at all. it's Zapier interfaces. they have common ground but are too different tools. Zapier interfaces only allows user to upload file less than 1M as knowledge base, which is useless

Question I can't seem to find a video to! Could you in theory connect a database of users to a custom gpt and allow the end user to be suggested other users based on their areas of interest?

So I could chat w the AI and say "hey id like to connect with accountants, in detroit" and it pulls up a list of profiles that match that?

Is it possible to create a Custom GPT that permits users to upload information during their session, expanding its knowledge base? I'm interested in developing a Custom GPT where users can either upload a file or capture an image, and the GPT can generate a list from the data and subsequently answer questions about it. My goal is to avoid creating separate GPTs for different datasets; instead, I want a single Custom GPT to maintain consistent functionality while accommodating interchangeable datasets for each user.

To build a chatbot that uses a 1MB data source, you have to upgrade to Premium for $20/month. Embedding an AI Chatbot also requires the Premium version.

I have one concern though, in my case I have over 300 products in my shopify website and I would love to input all that information into the knowledgbase for the chatbot, but also all the other relevant content that can be found in my FAQ, about us page and others. Do you have any advice on how to do it? (I know you can export the products information in a csv but the other information is what makes me more doubtful). Thank you in advance.
