How to Fix Crackling Audio, Stuttering & Choppy Playback on Windows in 2024

Hi ive changed all the hdmi leads but i still get this popping when watching videos through hdmi cable to projecter all my drivers are upto date have u got any ideas whats causing this problem.

another thing. if your mixer is plugged into a wall. meaning no ac adapter. it wont crackle. many ac adapters suck

You mentioned the computer being dusty. All I needed was to blow it with electronic duster and boom. USB adapter worked like a charm all of a sudden.

there is no option to diactivate blutooth in my windows 10 but and option to add so it must be active

i was having issues with running the automatic diagnostic for my sound but as soon as i did what you said, to turn off bluetooth (and unplugged my ethernet cable), i rerant the dianostic and it was able to reinstall the driver and it now works. I don't know if it was both, or just turning off the bluetooth, but it worked. thank you,

Sadly it didn't work for me, this sound is driving me nuts.

I got new earbuds and they work fine for 10 minutes then they stutter crazy, never had a problem with bluetooth headphones on any of my devices and this doesn't seem to help either. I think it's just a bad pair...

i use a headset and when i move my wire it crackles

so uh both issues you mentioned arent the issues its not working, i unplugged it with my knee by accident and then pulled it out and its now fucked

Either have static and crackling with the "Realtek High Definition Audio" and limited to 16 bit 4800 Hz (DVD Quality), or shallow sound with the "High Definition Audio Device" and more selections.

I cannot hear the audio properly on this video. I will have to look elsewhere for the fix.

the audio on my computer was stuttering and lagging , slowing down , very annoying , i tried everything and nothing worked so i unplugged my hard drive and used the other black plug thats attached to the multi colored wires / plug that you connect to the hard drive and rebooted and the problem was fixed

Thank god i found this, hell, before you even said it i was like "wait i think my bluetooth's on" and the second i check to see that it is indeed on you say in the vid to turn it off.

man, articles online, even the ones that show up on the very top suggested extreme solutions like resetting the network from the get-go

im sorry but your video didn't work for me, the only odd thing i saw was when i updated the realtek audio to high. after restarting the pc it would be stil there so no high definition audio
