The alternative is nobody really plays those games on console. Which for most gaming companies is a lot of money just gone. I couldn’t imagine playing r6 vs a bunch of pc players. Wouldn’t even be fun fr

Aim assist should only exist on the console and not on the PC. Aim assist on PC shouldn't even be a thing.

As a MnK player and an avid controller hater; they should not get rid of aim assist. That would be horrible LOL. It would be out right so unfair, why not have a closed beta where the gun meta is changed so it’s not so roller happy and a slight nerf to AA. Atleast have a closed beta for people to play test and give feedback. Respawn needs to Hire both inputs and stop employing mainly one input (controllers: most devs are roller players) that’s creating bias..

Remove aim assist and you lose 90% of the playerbase. This game dies if aa goes. Why? Go try to aim on a controller without aa and tell me that it’s actually useable without aim assist

All other games with exception to overwatch don’t need aim assist because the games are slower paced, holding angles etc. overwatch and apex are movement games, you are always moving

Fortnite had something similar happen where you pretty much needed a controller player on your team or you were gonna get outbeamed 9/10 times, mnk is obviously still very important for building, but with no build mode, controller do be strong

Me personally id get rid of aa in pc lobbies as a whole but console gets like 0.3

That’s why they need to separate controller input to only console and have mnk as the primary input for pc but then you would lose a shit ton of players due to them only being able to use a controller but also many top controller players from like cod been on valorant which is a mnk only game and they are able to compete with the top so I guess it’s just a 50/50 on whether or not they should remove aim assist

Have any of these guys tried raw input on controller? I don't care how fucking good you are you get dominated by mnk if you're using raw input on controller. Especially with a game as fast paced as apex. Aim assist is necessary to level the playing field. With mnk you can use raw inputs because you can more easily do micro adjustments. On controller it's very very difficult because of dead zone, limited range of movement and only having your thumb. With your whole arm you can have better hand-eye co-ordination. That's literally why aim assist was created. It's a matter of physical limitations. It's been in fps games for years. Apex players just looking for something to latch onto as a reason why they're losing. The only reason Hal even has a job now is because apex is so popular and casuals are the life blood of the game. Remove aim assist and casuals drop off because they're not gonna invest the time into improving raw input aim on controller and you're only left with a niche audience. How does the game survive after that? Streamers only focus on one aspect of aim assist when there's so many factors that go into it.

The issue is not aim assist the issue is alot devs try to do cross platform with PC and console they should strictly allow console players have cross play while PC players play by themselves and if somebody wants use a controller on PC they should have no aim assist which will separate PC players from console completely

Overwatch does have aim assist BTW. They just put it back recently.

As a controller player, I think they should just rework AA and remove rotational AA, I wish we could just go back to good old Halo AA which did nothing other then slow ur sense when aiming at or really close to a target, No pull no nothing.

Also u cant really compare csgo to apex because you cant aim down sights, which is a must for controller players because otherwise they would have to play on insanely low senses.

its not a hard fix, keep the AA the same mid to long range but within 20-30 feet AA needs to go from .4 to .2 or something like that or at least experiment with something similar

There have been many comments suggesting that separate lobbies for mouse and keyboard (MNK) and controller players would increase queue times. However, games like Valorant, CS:GO, Overwatch, Apex before the crossplay introduction in season 3 and others have not suffered from long queue times despite being MNK only. It seems that Apex Legends has lost many of its MNK players since the release of season 3 due to the dominance of controller players. These players might return to the game if it were not so reliant on aim assist for controller users.

I play on Xbox and actually truly believe lowering aim assist would actually be extremely beneficial to the casual experience. It would allow higher and lower skill levels to be separated much more efficiently

The moment u died is what u and ur teammates made. Dont get hope that 'if he was MnK, I wouldnt die..' And stop saying "I died because he was controller".
That was not because the guy was controller player. U died because that moment was the situation that u must die.
When you killed controller player, u cant know that player was controller. Only when u died u say that.

Both inputs have their advantages. But some players want easy game. They dont want practice hard or cant like high-tier players or pros. MnK high-tier player's aim is not much different as controller or even better than most controllers that u can meet. Think controller players u can meet in ranked lobbies. They may have much better aim by AA. But they are in that tier. Why? They cant go up. Their skill(aim+positioning+team work) is limited to that tier now. So they are in same lobbies with u now. But you are not. You can practice more and u can get more skills and go higher rank. You have better skill except aim. You have what they dont have.  If ur aim is not much good as controller, hooorayyy! U can go higher tier than now! By practicing!
If you are not pro or predator ranker,  controller is not ur obstacle. Even if u are. ^^

People just keep crying about aim assist bro. Like get a life. Play what you want, it really doesn't matter. If it bugs you then stop playing the game. If you still want to play the game then find a way around the problem

if youre not on a console you shouldnt have aim assist in every FPS,
pc=M&k and better machine
Console=worse machine, but has aim assist
i think that formula would help apex no aim assist for pc controllers essentially

As a person who has played on a mouse and on a controller, I can say one thing: you are an idiotы. And now let's see what I can't do on the controller: 1- I can't rearm the weapon behind the door without opening it to the enemy. 2 - I can't rearm a weapon behind a knockout teammate, 3 - I can'T flick like on a mouse. 4 - I can't turn 180 degrees as fast as on a mouse, 5 - I pick up loot from the box STANDING still. 6 - I cannot restore the shields with a large shield battery by pressing 1 button. 7 - it is PAINFUL and not convenient to deal with inventory management on the controller. 8 - I can't use tap strafe. This is not all that I can'T do on the controller and what players on the mouse do easily. Try to play CLOWNS first

I honestly can’t wait till they nerf aa and then i wonder what complaints you mnk crybabies will come up with next 😂😂😂
