greetings from me in Indonesia, very happy for the explanation of how to make a recording
Ответитьgreetings beautiful lady
Ответитьit's awesome! I finally got it working thanks!
ОтветитьThank you so much!
ОтветитьI am using Ample Bass Lite P2. I can not get it to record from the virtual keyboard attached to Bass Lite 2. I can hear the bass notes when I click on the Bass Lite piano roll. I can get it to record when I use the piano roll included with Reaper, but I don't think this Reaper one has as good a sound. What am I doing wrong? Thanks and love your videos, very helpful.
ОтветитьDigital keyboard is the same as midi keyboard? Thanks
ОтветитьCan Reaper take a WMA file and convert it to MIDI?
ОтветитьHI MUSIC REPO GREAT VIDEO CAN U DO THIS WITH A DIGITAL KEYBOARD LIKE KAWAI 920 ? TO GET OUTSIDE SOUNDs THAT ARE NOT IN THE KEYBOARD IT DOES HAVE A UBS AND A MIDI IN AND OUT IN THE BACK OF THE KEYBROAD THANKS FOR YOUR ADVICE AND HELP ALL THE BEST FAN MIKE
ОтветитьThanks for the video, but I want to be able to minipulate controls and oscillate and stuff live in an audio file from my midi vst but I don’t understand it. I feel dumb.
ОтветитьI’m having issues with rendering in reaper. I render it but once I play it on my computer, the audio is choppy... I don’t get any of the sustain pedal effects
ОтветитьGreat tutorials ..thanks.. do you have a link the to music you create...I and possibly others would like to hear your creations...Thanks
ОтветитьThank you -- "render" was the key to getting my M-Tron playing onto a WAV file,
Ответитьi wish i cud play that good oof inspiring stuffs
ОтветитьVery nice and helpfull video. Thank you.
Just got my first piano after 15 years of heavy metal guitar experience and omg it's sounds and feels amazing and i'm enjoying music again.
My neighbours says "hi" to me for the first time since high school xD
This is very helpful, but only gets one sound - that of a piano. What would be very helpful would be knowing how to get other virtual instruments, perhaps free, or at reasonably low cost. At one extreme I think there's the sound of the BBC Symphony orchestra - available from Spitfire - which costs getting on for £1000, but there must surely be other virtual instrument packages which are low cost, and which could be built into a Reaper configuration.
Alternatively, one could generate sounds by using Reaper to drive an external hardware synthesiser, such as a keyboard. It would also be useful to know how to do that.
Great, it works! Now all I have to do is learn how to play the piano 😬
ОтветитьHey i got one question here. How to add sustain to the sound of the piano? Bcs only using sustain pedal connected to my midi controller does not work. Maybe there's a way that we can set the sustain directly from the piano one vst? Thanks!
ОтветитьJust starting to set up my controller. The explanation is easy to follow and clear. So very helpful. Thanks.
ОтветитьI am trying to figure out how to record in reaper with my sektor wavetable synthesizer. How do i set this up?
Ответитьnot working in windows
Ответитьthanks for the help
ОтветитьLegal gostei top
Ответитьits not recording at all. it says I can save file but file is empty.both midi and wav
ОтветитьIf you're using Windows and had trouble getting NeoPiano to show up under Instruments, shut down Reaper. Move the 2 .DLLs and Piano1.ins to Reaper\Plugins\FX\ directory. Restart Reaper and they should appear as VST instruments.
ОтветитьHey there, you say drag into the VST Folder, where's that on windows? I'm in my Reaper x64 folder, there's a plugins folder, but no VST folder anywhere in the install,. Thanks
Ответитьi have started composing music with reaper. your videos are really very helpful, Thanks
ОтветитьThank you very much <3 exactly what i want to know :)
Ответитьyour channel is very informative and simple. thank you!
ОтветитьYou're kidding! That is how you teach recording an instrument to audio track in reaper ... surely not!
What you do is record your midi to a track. Set the vsti either before or after.
Set up another track for your audio.
Go into the MIDI instrument track and in the routing, set up a new 'sends' to the Audio track number.
You could set up a new Receives in the audio track to receive audio from the vst track.
Either way works here. (Don't do both)
Set the starting point to the beginning (where ever)
Arm the Audio track and press record on the transport. The Audio output from the vst will be recorded into the audio track. No saving files externally or mucking around. You can now delete the midi track or mute it and do your mix down or clean the audio and do it again till your happy.
Fantastic tutorial, thank you. Exactly what I needed.
ОтветитьHello, Ive done all of this but i really need your help so please help me out, if i render there is no sound, it just renders and there is no sound however if i just listen to it in reaper , there is sound... please help me our.
Ответитьneo piano is kinda loud...
like if i wanna play softly i can but i have to press EXTREMELY lightly
and if i wanna play loud it just plays at normal volume
you can change your sounds with better programs such as fl studio, logic pro x, which changes filter sound, resonance and much more
ОтветитьThank you so much for the informative videos!
I'm looking into buying a MIDI Keyboard & was worried about pricey software i see around. As a beginner i want to make simple things, without having to spend a fortune on software!
Can this use with sf2 files for Instruments ??
ОтветитьI love reaper and desperately want to stay but there is ONE THING that is almost about going to force me to switch out and it has to do with vst's... Like say I record a song using Trillian for bass.. When I go to bounce or convert to wav it will cut the tails of the notes or just drop notes all together. I've asked, looked at settings, etc and nothing... I cam get past the ugly case of how customizable it is.. But that handling of vst's when converting has been wearing me down... Other then that it's a phenomenal DAW
Ответитьvery nice
ОтветитьAfter I loaded the instrument and selected the correct file within the instrument, it's not saying that the Keycode isn't required. The box is just blank and I can't hear any sound. Any advice on how to fix this? I'm on a Mac.
ОтветитьHello! I followed the tutorial and everything works perfectly, except when I press keys on my keyboard, I hear the sound, but reaper doesn't hear it/record even though I have armed the virtual piano track and pressed record on the master record button. If someone could help me figure this problem out that would be appreciated
ОтветитьGreat video! I subscribed! One question please, how can i change my piano sound (flute, electric guitar and so on..) ? Thank you a lot!
Ответитьhi hi, may i ask,
when i import a midi song into Reaper, before i can click PLAY button, do i need to manually link 1 VST to EACH Track, in order for me to hear the sound & music? ( unlike cakewalk or STUDIO 1, which AUTOMATICALLY allow me to hear every track immediately once i click playback)
many thanks
Thank you so much !
ОтветитьI have a midi file that was created, but I want to make it a piano. How do I go about doing that? I already added it to the FX.
I use midi drums and I usually just add the vst to the track and it just knows what to play, but I want it to be piano
the question is
hot to get a free reaper
do a tutorial on that too:)
Just can't get the software to work on my HP. Won't open the installer without some sort of special app...
ОтветитьThe VTS won't download. It always stops when it gets to around 312MB then you have to start over and over and over and it keeps doing the same thing and won't download the whole file. Do you have a secondary piano?
Ответитьsorry how i can use my motif sounds with midi? record midi and then replay it back into the audio card? sorry...
