Mam How do I get my apprenticeship on line if thats possible
Ответитьthis helped so much 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 thank youuuuu
ОтветитьI’m so glad I stumbled across this video, I’ve seen too many videos telling me to “include this” and “not to do that” and it feels like they’re more interested in your presentation than the art you create
ОтветитьThis is such a good video. I’ve been researching apprentice portfolios and theirs are out of this world 😂😂😂 got me thinking I’ll never get there
ОтветитьHi Linda,
First Thank you for taking time with your vidéo. I like your style and its fun to Watch.
I have a Question ,
How Manu exemple at least should a portfolio have?
And should it be Tattoo drawing or any drawing
I barely have any art because I always forget to document. Is that a problem :(? like at the very minimum how much do I need in a portafolio. I'm really good at selling stories!
ОтветитьI'd love to see your apprentices journey. That is if they are okay with it. That would be awesome.
ОтветитьThank you for your video. It is very encouraging
Ответитьyour video was very helpful thank you ! is it a bad thing to have a portfolio with many digital drawings ?
ОтветитьI’ve been recommended to just show up to a shop with my unfinished portfolio (it contains a bunch of old work that I want to redraw and edit and some work that I had free handed) but I’m not sure if that’s a smart thing to do. I was thinking I can walk in and ask what they would like to see more of and take some advice. Should I keep working on the portfolio or is it okay to show what my progress is looking like? Thank you!
ОтветитьThanks a lot, this really helped me.
Ответить🙌🏻🫶🏻
Ответитьthank uuu

ОтветитьThank you for your words...great inspiration and your right. Thank you
ОтветитьI love your look today! Your beauty on the outside matches the inside. I wish you continued success
ОтветитьHello , I’m 21 years old and I’ve been teaching myself how to draw I’m very interested in pursuing a career tattooing , I have a draft portfolio , my question is do all of my drawings have to be original , can I mimic drawings I’ve seen for instance if I want to add Frankenstein to my portfolio can I draw a image of Frankenstein that I like on Pinterest?
Ответитьthis is so motivating. I love it
ОтветитьI want to be a tattoo artist but I mostly paint and draw anime or cartoons
Ответитьwould you rather have an physical portfolio with drawings or a digital portfolio ?
ОтветитьI have an interview on Tuesday for a internship. And I was so nervous before watching this! Thank you for posting! Wish me luck!😊
ОтветитьThank you for the information 🙏.
ОтветитьWhat do you recommend putting in a portfolio? Do you want to see fonts, realism, American traditional, and flash work? I’ve seen a few articles that say never include flash or “tattoo samples”...
ОтветитьThank you♥️ This was some solid advice I needed to hear.
ОтветитьThanks so much for this advice. I decided to add some older art from highschool to my portfolio to show my progress throughout the years
ОтветитьWow thanks for this video it was really good, felt personal and very informative 🥺❤️
ОтветитьIn the middle of working on my portfolio and this was awesome to hear
ОтветитьI’ve been working on my portfolio for a few years and I keep getting caught up in making it “perfect” I’ve re-drawn things over and over and over. I think I’m over thinking it
ОтветитьOmg this was sooo helpful! Looking 4 an apprenticeship myself, if anyone wants to see my work on ig @ceyone_22
ОтветитьI love looking at tattoos I have done even 3 years ago to see where I'm at lol
Ответитьwow, you pretty much said what i was thinking lol thank you so much!!!
Ответитьcan i get some feedback on my instagram page? @thepoetcatullus, id appreciate all criticism.
ОтветитьI’m just kinda scared because I submitted a lot of realism drawing but I feel like I showed my range
Ответить♥️
ОтветитьI appreciate the advice thank you! :)
ОтветитьI NEEDED TO HEAR THIS. THANK YOU!
ОтветитьTHANK YOU!!! From the bottom of my heart..I have been beating myself up for not bing "perfect" ... hearing you say it is all about potential ..really filled me up with hope >3 You have a sub and a like from me <3
ОтветитьThank you for this information. I keep comparing my portfolio to other peoples work that I see online and I get discouraged but your advice really made me feel better.
ОтветитьYou should see my progress on silicon skin! ...I will never throw that away!😅😅😅😅started drawing when I could handle a pencil....every birthday I got paint stuff and I loved it every time over again 🥳
ОтветитьCurrently working on my portfolio. Thank you!
ОтветитьWhat was it like tattooing for the first time? Were you nervous to draw something so permanent on someone in the beginning?
ОтветитьOlha interessante essa no pescoço,um pouco escuro, mas tudo bem..achei outra dica no canal
ОтветитьI would like to know the names of the parts of a tattoo machine and all the different types of needles and what they are used for.
ОтветитьHow much money should you have saved up to survive during your apprenticeship assuming its unpaid like most are. & how long do they averagely take? I'm a single mother with close to no support from the father so I'll have to find someone who will work with me on that. I've heard $1,000-$2,000 is pretty average, but that was years ago & I'm sure based on them being a single person without dependents. You're amazing as always!!!! My goal is to find an apprenticeship by next year. Normally I'm travelling full time on the road with renaissance festivals painting henna so covid has opened this opportunity for me & I think theres no better time than now!
ОтветитьThankyou linda for doing this! ❤️
ОтветитьHi Linda, should I set up a time with my potential mentor to let them know I’m stopping by with intent to show them my portfolio? Or is it rude to come in and ask during my tattoo appointment? (Edited for clarification)
