ОтветитьJust walking music 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
ОтветитьOP is the way I like to journey through this thing, no stone left unturned. He is beyond 3D . True Master of time and space at the speed of life.
I can hear you tuning into your playing as well ❤
I love how understated Thigpen's drums are. Sign of a master.
ОтветитьThats what I call music: fun and disciplin, 3 people who are acting as one, incredible, so sad they passed ...
ОтветитьNothing better!!!!!
ОтветитьWhy do they wipe their faces so much?
Ответитьエドシグペンサイコー
ОтветитьI place Oscar as the finest jazz pianist of all time. If he heard me say that, he'd laugh, shake his head and likely reply "No, not me. That would be Art Tatum". While Art was not of this world, I say Oscar because I see Jazz is a collective, democratic exercise. Oscar's presence elevates the musicians around him- check out his collaborations with Lester Young, for example. Art Tatum occupies a singular space. You couldn't play with Tatum because he was in an entirely different space.
ОтветитьFrom late minute 8, reminded me of Deep Purple's "Made in Japan" first minutes of "Lazy"...
ОтветитьDear people, first I'd like to say - one and only Oscar!! and also a fantastic rhytm section.. !! It is simply not possible to play bad with such great rhytm section..fortunately I know that from my own experience.. Now, about the singing part: when studiing and playing jazz it is very important to be able to sing, what you intend to play..if you hear nothing in advance, it's better to play nothing (and not to disturb the rhytm section) maybe you have noticed, that also bassemen are singing, while playing solos, etc.. I noticed, that I was playing worse, if I didn't sing while playing.. BUT, sometimes , playing can be also good without obvious singing, because focus from the brain is extremly strong - but, somehow, your soul must be present all the time and singing allong with you, othervise nothing can work.. This connections probably can't be explained with words- you must go through a special process, to be able to understand, how it really works- and than you can enjoy unlimited time, you will never be bored..and- going through this process, you can't jump over some important points..than the process will be much longer, and maybe you'll never come to the final point.. I also noticed, that also very good classical pianists are singing (often I heard opinion of stupid teachers, that they shoudn't..?!) - Keith Jarret's singing became his trade mark.... all the best!
Ответить❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
ОтветитьFirst time I ever heard this. Stumbled on the video…
I am in love ❤
Amazing!
ОтветитьWe all know Oscar is great but let's talk about the guy Rockin that Bass! Flowing lines that weave in and out of Oscars playing while the drums are laying down a smooth rhythm. What a Trio these guys were!
ОтветитьI like the way the crowd might applaud a line or a solo or an interesting part of the music....so important for music to be interactive....
ОтветитьFine sweet music....
ОтветитьI just love it.
Ответить🎉😂
ОтветитьWonder if they gave him that amazing piano made in Denmark.
ОтветитьIt's hot in here
ОтветитьOscar Peterson band. Smoking hot playing to a lucky crowd.
ОтветитьPure gold
ОтветитьChamp of Champs
ОтветитьTHE TRIO
ОтветитьYeah, this is good.
ОтветитьWish there'd been a camera trained on Oscar's hands!
ОтветитьFUCKING CRAZY
ОтветитьSo astonishing. Mere mortals can only look on with a mixture of wonder, awe and envy.
ОтветитьPoor old Thigpen and Brown. Awesome players, but you can't help thinking they're mainly there to help drown out the sound of the pianists in the audience weeping.
ОтветитьAvec un petit clin d'oeil à Duke.
ОтветитьWow! Just wow!
ОтветитьThis is music 4 me! ❤
ОтветитьWeil Restaurationen immer besser

Beeindruckende Brillanz!
take it easy oscar
Ответитьwhere are his wonderful hands!!!!
ОтветитьMan o' Man .
ОтветитьLet’s move to Denmark. And I’m a white guy. Denmark is an enlightened country
ОтветитьOH WHAT A FINISH goodness me how brilliant!!!! Ahhhhh and the audience's passion! What a fantastic clip thank you.
ОтветитьIncredible work. Pure magic.
Ответитьincomparable !!
ОтветитьOh my goodness!
ОтветитьWOW !!!!!!!
ОтветитьMr. Peterson is a Canadian treasure. I shipped a Korg electronic piano that was being worked on for him when I worked part-time for Erikson Music in Markham in the early 90s? He lived in London and was a Korg celebrity rep. I would have been 1 year old when this was recorded. What a genius.
Ответитьc'est vraiment dommage qu'il pousse la chansonnette !!! sinon ... TOP TOP TOP
ОтветитьOscar Peterson described Art Tatum 's piano skills as' intimidating ' enough said what he plays is American music ,coming from the south of the border there is no such thing as Canadian...Actually it has its roots in deep south which emigrated to Chicago in 1930 's and became Chicago blues..
ОтветитьThis just doesn’t exist anymore, sadly art has become stale
ОтветитьWith this ... I would have won Le Mans .. on my . Bike :)
